It is a cool, laid back atmosphere. On Fridays before 7Pm, the curtains are open and the together is flowing in to experience the beauty of the space. After 7pm is when they close the curtains and make a really lovely jazz club vibe with low lights and warm lighting from beautiful lamps. My wife and I had stopped by for a night cap. We loved the atmosphere and the music choice being played throughout our time there. The staff was very friendly checking in on us right when needed. It wasn’t too packed which allowed for us to have a great selection of comfortable seating. This vibe was right up our alley and we plan on visiting again very soon.
Amazing atmosphere had a great time will definitely be back! Manager was super nice

Consigliere is a hidden gem and the best wine bar in Newark. This spot has great ambiance, beautiful lighting, and amazing vibes all around. The wine selection is awesome, interesting, and thoughtful, with bottle choices that are not the usual suspects. The drinks are spot on, and the small plates taste fresh and well thought out. The music sets exactly the right mood and is always on point. Staff is super knowledgeable, caring, and attentive. The space is beautiful and perfect for date night, catching up with friends, or stopping in for a quick glass. Cool events are always going on. It is the kind of spot Newark needed, bringing energy back to the city. Consigliere hits on every level and is easily one of the best spots in Newark.
