Came here with a small group before a concert at the Prudential center and it was truly lovely. EP was our server and she was AMAZING. She asked us our wine preferences and perfectly different wines for the tastes of our group that were fabulous. The cheese boards here are lovely and paired with fruits, jams and crackers. The paninis are nice light bights for happy hour fare. We walked past it after the concert and it was packed with a great vibe.
Luckily it wasn’t too pricey and since we got there early we were able to get a seat still and order a bottle of wine for $58.10 with gratuity included. The service was excellent and they would come check in on us. We were able to close our tab with no issues when we were ready to leave. As for the R&b night it was a nice vibe. Consigliere is a hidden gem and the best wine bar in Newark. This spot has great ambiance, beautiful lighting, and amazing vibes all around. The wine selection is awesome, interesting, and thoughtful, with bottle choices that are not the usual suspects. The drinks are spot on, and the small plates taste fresh and well thought out. The music sets exactly the right mood and is always on point. Staff is super knowledgeable, caring, and attentive. The space is beautiful and perfect for date night, catching up with friends, or stopping in for a quick glass. Cool events are always going on. It is the kind of spot Newark needed, bringing energy back to the city. Consigliere hits on every level and is easily one of the best spots in Newark.
