If you looking for good soul food, here is your spot. This is the best soul food place in Newark and been around for years. They’re the only ones selling slab bacon… I’ve had everything on the menu but my favorites are the smothered chicken and smothered pork chops, fried pork chops, collards, string beans, all the beans, Mac and cheese,, well just about everything on the menu lol. Chris be putting his foot in it!!Thank you for serving the community for all these years.

Favorite soul food spot. Super authentic and literally the only restaurant where I can find delicious southern style pigs feet and well as a variety of other fresh and flavorful soul food favorites. The staff is very friendly and the cook in the back always makes me feel like family!

Baby!!!!!!!! When I tell you ima fat girl and I love food, this place right here crosses every T in PerfecT for me hunni. This hit the spot and it’s soooo good. The Owners are so dope , pleasant and welcoming. 5 stars isn’t enough . They fill ya plate up. I ordered oxtails rice and Mac .cornbread comes with every dinner, i also ordered porkchops cabbage and pinto beans , it’s sooooo good. .
