“My family and I stopped by Yafa grill while visiting New Jersey. I am so glad we didn’t choose another place. The food was absolutely amazing. Everything was made fresh by hand by the amazing worker! Everything was so flavorful and the price is very reasonable considering that the portions are very big. We ordered a mixed shawarma combo dish to share and it came with 2 appetizers. You get to choose the appetizers that you prefer & we chose baba ganoush & yogurt salad. Both appetizers made excellent dips with the bread provided.

I loved the lamb in this dish. It was flavorful. I added the yogurt salad on top for that perfect taste!

They also provide catering options for all types of events.

We tried the koshari and a half grilled chicken. Honestly, the koshari was one of the best I've ever had. Everything was flavorful, fresh, and clearly made with quality ingredients. The grilled chicken was also delicious and cooked perfectly.

“Samia’s has been in Bay Ridge for decades. My mom used to buy her Syrian food from there as she aged and was tired of cooking. Our ancestors came from Damascus and Alleppo Syria. Samia cooks with the same spices and meticulous style of mom and Sito. Whenever I travel to Bay Ridge to visit friends or family, Samia’s is my first stop off to get some of the old authentic flavors of my childhood. 🥰“
