He keeps asking me to go eat there all the time! You need to go early because their shawarmas flies, they sell like just baked bread!“

Also their Znud Al Sit are amazing. I usually call in the morning to make an order by noon time for best results.“

“Yesterday, before I went exercising at Planet Fitness, I decided to dine at this Yemeni restaurant. This was my first time not only having Yemeni cuisine apart from my first visit at Qahwah House in Montclair, New Jersey on the twenty-first of May last year which was International Tea Day, but likewise, yesterday was the first time I celebrated Yemeni Unity Day at a Yemeni restaurant. The food was delicious, especially my main dish: The Lamb Mandi. I loved this place and I recommend going to this place for a taste of authentic Yemeni cuisine.“

“Food was honestly great! We got eggs with tomatoes and eggs with sausage . But the cheese breakfast plate was very disappointing we had to return it. It mentioned 3 meats that did not come on the plate when they brought it out. But the waitress was very friendly and took it back for us and got us something else. I think they just need to update the pictures in their menu. Other than that loved the vibes and service thank you ❤“

“I really enjoy the Baklava from this place, but this time I tried the tres leches dessert for the first time. Honestly, I have tried a considerable number of tres leches desserts, and this was the first time I had one where the cake itself was completely bland and lacking flavor.

I should mention that the cake was perfectly moist, but the flavor was almost nonexistent. The topping was the only part that gave it some sweetness and a little more taste. A tres leches dessert is not supposed to be overly sweet or overwhelming, but there is a perfect balance of sweetness that creates a delicious flavor when done correctly — and unfortunately, this dessert did not have that balance.

I’m sharing this with good intentions because I think this dessert could be improved. Maybe someday I will take another chance and order it again, but for now, whenever I visit, I will continue ordering the Baklava desserts because they are absolutely delicious.

The atmosphere is pleasant, calm, clean, spacious, and well organized. It is a wonderful place to enjoy a relaxing moment. The service is also attentive and friendly.

“The beef Shawarma was simply exceptional. We also tried the chicken Shawarma, which was equally delicious. Overall, we were pleasantly surprised by the restaurant’s atmosphere. It was much nicer than we had anticipated. The service was incredibly quick, and we were fortunate enough to find parking right in front of the restaurant. We would definitely return to Shami Shawarma the next time we’re in Paterson.“
