“I have been coming here for years and without fail the quality has never changed. I have brought these pies to parties, work gatherings, and family gatherings and everyone loves them. The spinach pies are tangy and delicious. My kids love the chicken pies. They also sell olive oil, soft drinks, different types of bread and cookies. Once you start going to Ameer’s you can’t stop. Everything is so fresh and authentic.“

I also buy fresh herbs, pickles, and most of my Iranian products from this store. Everything is very fresh and they carry good-quality brands.

“The place is a small bakery. The smoothies are great and so are the sandwiches, I order a chicken sandwich and mango smoothie. You can also order cakes for birthdays, graduations. You just have to pre order ahead of time. The place is great.“

“Small, no frills, Mexican mom and pop place with baked goods (conchas , pan dulce) and home cooking and Mexican street food (tacos, huaraches, burritos, tortas, sopes etc etc) ... I had the huaraches al pastor ($13) and a jarrito. They were very good, and proper ..the portions were big. I was expecting 1 big huarache but I got 3 small ones, which is good because they were so filling I ate 2 and brought the 3rd home. I would go here again. I want to try the tacos which all the other tables were eating on their lunch hour.“

Food is excellent. Reminds me of Bangladesh town in the Bronx. Vegetable samosa (singhara) needs some salt. Chicken patty (puff) needs more filling (hardly 2 small pieces of chicken in them. Chicken biryani was delicious. Tandoori chicken was good as well. None of them were served with condiments (sad). The best of all is the Chai, it was spot on.

Service: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Upon arrival the cashier didn't greet or welcome, however, the server was welcoming. The server was able to speak in English and Hindi which was nice. He was patient and answered all the questions. On purpose I asked the server to pack different things randomly to see his service and he was impeccable. Good customer service.

Atmosphere: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The restaurant is in a sketchy area, not the best of places, however, the restaurant/bakery captured the essence of the area and brought beauty to it. The ambience is very south Asian and reads the area well. Music and clearly labeled menu items with prices would help.“
