“I have not found a Rye bread that beats Kohouts. I have been a customer for many years while in New Jersey.. Now that I'm in Florida, guess what? I have my son purchase it and ship it to me. When I come to visit, I bring an empty carry on just to fill it with rye bread to bring home with me PS, the poppy seed roll is on the top of the list for their pastries. “Best Italian bread around and very reasonably priced in my opinion. Italian pastries are delicious also. Even if you don't live too close by there, it is worth a trip every once in awhile to get really good bread especially for Sunday gravy/sauce. They are open many hours so it's very convenient.“

“I am so glad I found this place. I needed a birthday cake last minute and I stopped here real quick on my way from work. They had a good selection of tres leches cake and flan and other sweet treats. The cake I bought was beautiful and it was delicious. Not overwhelmingly sweet, which was perfect.“

“Stopped in on Tłusty Czwartek for their Paczki. At 845, the line was out the door with temps in the kow30's. Kinda tells you this place is the real deal when it comes to Polish baked goods. While I waited 45 minutes on line, it was worth the wait. Knowing its a cherished holiday, ill let it slide. As the saying goes, good things come to those who wait.

“This place is a NYC gem. The people on here giving one star reviews don’t get Sullivan (or food) and have also just decided to purposely get their knickers in a twist. Everything is sourdough based. So, no, Italian tourist, it won’t taste like a run-of-the-mill croissant. It’ll be different (and in many cases better). You don’t think they have enough bread? They sell out because they bake small batch. It’s not Whole Foods. Ingredients are absolutely top notch which is why you feel zero bloat from this food. “The new owners have brought a completely different level of energy and hospitality to the place. The service is warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, and you can tell they are personally invested in making sure customers have a great experience. Me and my son had a breakfast and it was truly amazing.

“I don't usually write long Google reviews, but after attending a buddy’s wedding in North Jersey recently, I had to drop one for this place.
Honestly, I’m not even a big cake guy, but the dessert setup at the reception caught my attention right away. They had this huge, multi-tiered custom wedding cake that looked awesome really clean work, not over the top, just super high quality. My wife and I were actually talking about how great it looked before they even cut into it.
When we finally got our slices, I expected the usual wedding cake thing: looks great, tastes like dry cardboard or straight sugar. But man, this thing was actually insane. Super moist, fresh, and tasted legit. I finished mine in about two minutes and ended up grabbing half of my wife’s slice too. It was so good I walked over to the groom during the party just to ask where they got it. He told me they had it custom designed at D’era House.
Finding a cake designer around North Jersey that makes something that actually tastes as good as it looks is pretty rare. I saved their info on my phone right then and there for our next family event.

The jambon/beurre on baguette (recommended to me by Daniel) was Heaven on a plate. 😇 The workers here couldn’t be nicer. My wife and I try to come to New York City once a year. Whenever we come up from Florida, I try to find a good French bakery or French restaurant. This is a place I will definitely make a priority on my future trips. When we were there, the clientele was mostly young, multi-ethnic, everybody looking pretty intelligent. It was just a really pleasant place to be. Can’t wait to return!“

​I visited Fabrique Bakery after someone at the nearby Snoopy store recommended it, and I'm so glad I took the short walk over! Everything is incredibly fresh, a busy place with people constantly coming and going.
​The employee, Josh, was working solo with peak efficiency, speed, and genuine pride in his work. He was remarkably patient on my first visit and suggested the brown sugar walnut bun—it was so delicious, served cold, It has the most satisfying crunch and remarkably fresh flavor. The flavors of the golden brown sugar and walnuts combine harmoniously ,it gives you a melt-in-your-mouth taste that keeps you coming back for more. So good, I ordered a second one! I'm sure is even better when warm. Josh also crafted the best iced oat milk coffee I've ever had anywhere, perfect ratio of fresh brewed coffee to milk! I also noticed the fresh loaves of bread seem to be popular.

“Absolutely loved my experience at La Farine. We came in for lunch and ended up staying for hours because the atmosphere was so warm and inviting. By the time it started getting darker and the candles came out, the whole place felt incredibly cozy.

I tried the tuna sandwich, chocolate tart, raspberry cake, and apple tart, and everything was genuinely delicious. The tuna sandwich was fresh and so satisfying, and the chocolate tart was probably one of my favorites rich, indulgent, and seriously hard to stop eating. The raspberry cake was beautifully balanced, and the apple tart was just as good. The drinks were amazing too.

This has quickly become one of those places I keep recommending to everyone. The food, service, and atmosphere all make you want to stay a little longer. I already can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu. Such a gem. 🤍“
