Not only did our cake look beautiful but it tasted delicious which I was honestly not expecting! I thought we3dding cakes just all looked beautiful, I didn’t realize they could taste this good! We had a vanilla cake with vanilla frosting and CANOLLI cream filling which was AMAZING! I honestly still crave it to this day! We added our own little doggie figurines to our cake, and it looked perfect when displayed at our wedding! We skipped the cake tasting because we ran out of time but honestly, we didn’t need it! Palermo’s delivered a PERFECT wedding cake for us, and it exceeded our expectations the day of our wedding! “They are my lifesavers! I got my gender reveal result on Thursday and wanted to have a gender reveal party that weekend. The Ridgefield location refused to make a gender reveal cake. Another bakery told me I needed to order the special cake at least 4 days in advance, and that they could only take orders online, not in the store. I was so disappointed and thought maybe I wouldn’t be able to have a cake for the party.

When I got home, I called the Little Ferry location with little hope. Kevin and the other staff members were so kind and helpful, and they were able to make an order for me!

The cake came out so beautifully! They made exactly what I asked for, and my whole family loved it too. Thank you so much, Kevin and the Little Ferry team, for helping make our special day even more memorable. The party ended up being a success!

“My husband and I made the long drive yesterday (2 1/2 hrs each way) from upstate NY to visit our daughter in NYC just for the day. While strolling around her neighborhood we came upon your lovely bakery and cafe and after eyeing the beautiful carrot cake in the window, we had to go in. Carrot cake is my favorite sweet treat. There were so many beautiful choices, but we got 2 slices of carrot cake to take back home with us. After the long drive back home we were really looking forward to a piece of cake and a cup of coffee. I opened one of the beautifully packed boxes, which revealed an enormous slice of yumminess!! The slice was big enough for at least 3 people. I thought I had died and gone to heaven. Everything about this cake was phenomenal. The frosting was outstanding, the cake was so flavorful and moist. It was the best we’ve ever had. We have enough left for a few days. I’m so glad we stopped in. It was a great way to end our lovely day in the city and will most certainly go back on our next trek in . I will also have to get our daughter pick up some baked goods when she’s coming home for a visit. I highly recommend Crumbly Cafe & Bakery😊😊“

“This place is viral on instagram according to my girlfriend. The sandwiches only come out after 11am, so you have to be smart about “lining up” Considering how they charge 14 dollars for a sandwich they were a little small. But sandwich itself was well seasoned and fresh.

The aesthetic is absolutely beautiful, and honestly, I wanted to move in. 😂 You can tell everyone who works there puts so much love and hard work into everything they make. The cakes are actual works of art—I almost felt guilty cutting into mine… almost. 😅 They looked incredible and somehow tasted even better. The staff was so friendly and welcoming that it felt like they genuinely wanted you there, which is rare these days. So we walked over right after. Super cute small spot. Beautiful smoked fish in the cases, amazing cream cheese options. I so wanted the caviar cream cheese, but we just ate and we were gonna be walking around for a few hours. So I got 2 onion and 2 garlic bagels. They thought we was nuts not wanting anything done with them. Like I said I just needed them gonna enjoy it tomorrow morning as our Great American Road Trip continues to Boston. Personally next time.. I'd go to this original location, more variety, of bagels and cream cheese, but no seating. So pick what works for you but definitely Go! 100% recommend.“

I've been here on multiple occasions after work and there have been times when there is only one or two people on the line and other workers are standing around chatting. Honestly, I’m not even a big cake guy, but the dessert setup at the reception caught my attention right away. They had this huge, multi-tiered custom wedding cake that looked awesome really clean work, not over the top, just super high quality. My wife and I were actually talking about how great it looked before they even cut into it.
When we finally got our slices, I expected the usual wedding cake thing: looks great, tastes like dry cardboard or straight sugar. But man, this thing was actually insane. Super moist, fresh, and tasted legit. I finished mine in about two minutes and ended up grabbing half of my wife’s slice too. It was so good I walked over to the groom during the party just to ask where they got it. He told me they had it custom designed at D’era House.
Finding a cake designer around North Jersey that makes something that actually tastes as good as it looks is pretty rare. I saved their info on my phone right then and there for our next family event.
If you’re looking for a solid wedding cake designer, custom made tiered cakes, or custom event cakes in Clifton or anywhere in the area, D’era House is 100% the real deal. Props to the baker! 💍🍰💪“
