The service is warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, and you can tell they are personally invested in making sure customers have a great experience. Me and my son had a breakfast and it was truly amazing.

Most importantly, the quality of the food and desserts has improved tremendously. Everything we tried was fresh and delicious, especially the baklava and Turkish pastries. Definitely worth trying.“

I drove twice in 2 days to grab cupcakes and cookies… I cannot say what’s my favourite out of the cupcake, the brownies, the cookies etc because everything was decadent and not too sweet. You taste the quality of the ingredients and the love they put while cooking them. The fact that Carrie was answering me while the business is close is a sign that she’s passionate and that she care about her client. They’re on the expensive side compared to other bakery, but once you compare you understand why… You taste the butter in everything! While strolling around her neighborhood we came upon your lovely bakery and cafe and after eyeing the beautiful carrot cake in the window, we had to go in. Carrot cake is my favorite sweet treat. There were so many beautiful choices, but we got 2 slices of carrot cake to take back home with us. After the long drive back home we were really looking forward to a piece of cake and a cup of coffee. I opened one of the beautifully packed boxes, which revealed an enormous slice of yumminess!! The slice was big enough for at least 3 people. I thought I had died and gone to heaven. Everything about this cake was phenomenal. The frosting was outstanding, the cake was so flavorful and moist. It was the best we’ve ever had. We have enough left for a few days. I’m so glad we stopped in. It was a great way to end our lovely day in the city and will most certainly go back on our next trek in . I will also have to get our daughter pick up some baked goods when she’s coming home for a visit. I highly recommend Crumbly Cafe & Bakery😊😊“

“I immediately noticed that this is a homemade patty. Not your traditional flaky Jamaican patty with excessive shortening or butter cut into the dough. That being said, for the lack of flake, there is no shortage of flavor. What a delicious bite. The beef and the chicken were both tasty and well seasoned.

I did not stay inside of the store longer than two minutes at most. Extremely efficient customer service.

“This place is viral on instagram according to my girlfriend. The sandwiches only come out after 11am, so you have to be smart about “lining up” Considering how they charge 14 dollars for a sandwich they were a little small. But sandwich itself was well seasoned and fresh.
Very limited seating so please be aware.

“Russ & Daughters is always one of the places I look forward to visiting whenever I’m in New York.

Everything is incredibly fresh and delicious. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients, especially the fish and seafood. They have a great selection of fish, bagels, and all the classic combinations, and everything we tried was excellent.

What I also really appreciate is how clean and well-maintained everything feels. Even with so much seafood being prepared and served, you never get any feeling of messiness or poor hygiene. The whole place feels very professional and high-quality, and the level of service matches that.

“Kam Hing Coffee Shop — House of the Sponge Cake absolutely lives up to the name. 😂 The second you walk through the door, this place has so much personality. It feels old-school, busy, local, and full of character—the kind of place you immediately know has a story.

And then the sponge cake… OMFG. 😭 So simple, but SO GOOD. It’s unbelievably soft, fluffy, light, and basically melts in your mouth. I took one bite and immediately understood why people come here just for this.

No crazy toppings, no fancy presentation needed. Just a warm, fluffy sponge cake done RIGHT.

There are so many places to eat in Chinatown, but this is one I would absolutely tell people you have to try at least once. It truly deserves the “House of the Sponge Cake” name.“

But the sandwiches will keep you coming back. I got the Lucy and it was 🤌. As the kids say, 10/10 no notes. It was so good that my wife - who was hangry and wondered why it took 10 minutes (perfectly acceptable timing tbh) - no longer wondered why good things take time when she stole the other half of my sandwich. From the bread to the fillings to the ratio, bravo.
