“Don't miss this jewel box of a bakeshop for celebrations both big and small! We ordered a lemon raspberry cake for a family celebration and it was such a big hit. Tall, elegant, and sprinkled with freeze-dried raspberries to hint at the flavor inside. It looked like the top tier of a wedding cake! Everyone was so impressed with it visually but once we tasted it, we all loved how moist and lemony it was. The guests were all raving about how balanced the buttercream was. The texture and sweetness was just right. The guest of honor even swiped some extra frosting off someone else's plate, which I've NEVER seen him do!In this day and age, everyone wants a cake that photographs beautifully. But sometimes a gorgeous cake will be too dry/dense or the frosting just tastes like colored butter. You never want a second piece. It really can be a lottery sometimes. But with this gorgeous, delectable cake we definitely hit the jackpot!Thank you, Carrie, for putting as much thought into the flavor as you did on the presentation. It really made our celebration feel special.“
“The best Anatolian bakery in nj. Educated helpers, owners and manager it means how they really love their job and make customer happy and also all brand quality is awesome.Recommend for all Americans who want to have best bakery/breakfast in USA.“
“Cozy, warm, and inviting atmosphere. I came here from Long Island to meet with someone special who I hadn't seen in months, and it was the perfect place for us to catch up and talk and laugh together over a cup of Turkish coffee (with a complimentary Turkish delight in the side). The woman who served us was so sweet and welcoming. If I lived closer I'd come here all the time!“
“Delicious flat bread pizza!! We had the sweet and spicy pepperoni and the procsciutto with date spread. Both were amazingly delicious, I wanted more of the pepperoni. The mozarella caprese were so fresh is a must! We loved the service, very nice and kind people. Definitely would recomend this place and I would go back!?“
“Love, love, love Miller’s. Not enough stars available to give them. The best cake and pastries around. The butter cream is beyond compare. Just saw that they are celebrating their 75th year in business. Here’s hoping they have another 75 years ahead!!!!“
“This place has really stepped up their game. It went downhill at some point in time but recently they have really gotten better. I went yesterday and the food tastes much better and the environment is amazing now. Definitely time to start going again.“
“Lady Wong Pastry & Cakes offers a sweet escape! Clean seating though it’s tight. First-timers may need staff guidance due to extensive flavor choices. Seasonal flavors vary. Tried Baked Ube Rice Cake - tasty but tricky to cut. A delightful treat worth exploring.☺️“
“I visited on a Sunday morning before 9am. There were people lining up to the entrance, but I was able to order in about 10 minutes. I ordered a bagel with scallion cream cheese ($5.99), but most of the people ordered the cream cheese in a cup and added it themselves. Highly recommended for the taste, price, and atmosphere.“
“Turned up early on a Wednesday morning as it was opening and got a seat at the counter - which is our preference anyway so this was a win - but we clearly got lucky as it filled up very quickly with lots of people waiting too. I went for blueberry pancakes while my husband went for the Huevos Rancheros. The food was superb and the service was excellent but especially so from Jess (I think) who was working behind the counter - multitasking to a ridiculous degree but so on top of tending to everyone promptly and taking time to chat too. I can completely understand why this place has gone viral and would definitely recommend.“
“Everything is good here, and always fresh. They have a variety of donuts- both yeast and cake. Wonderful breakfast items, and I love their rolls and/or bagels with bacon, egg, and cheese( delicious). Coffee is bold and flavorful, and customer service is friendly and fast. Family owned business and a staple in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Stop by and try their goodies out for yourself. You won't be disappointed.“
“Speaking on behalf of the bakery, as someone who has somehow managed to sample almost everything at least once, this is the best bakery in NYC. While my Baba always wants a canoli, I enjoy their fruit tarts and their perfect cream. My father cannot go without a slice of the Sicilian Cheesecake and would buy the whole giant wheel if we let him. The assorted cookies (especially the rainbow cookies) and biscotti are also great. It is a must go if you are in the neighborhood and need a treat.Shout-out to the tiramisu cake we bought for my brother's birthday. Soaked in espresso, perfect marscapone layers and fresh lady fingers. They even did a quick writing job for us.Thank you for all the great treats!“
“I got the Lemon Croffin and Colored Croissant, and the basic bread had an excellent texture - crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The Lemon Croffin was a perfect match, with the tangy lemon complementing the bread beautifully. It would be even better if they had indoor seating in addition to the patio. I'm looking forward to coming back when it's warmer outside. :)“
“I have recommend Crumbly to patients when they ask where to go after their appointment. Everything I have tried, I have loved so far. They are my go to place before I go into work.It makes it even better that they are so nice. I can keep going, everything just taste so good.I got a Fudge Brownie this morning ?“
“I normally recommend this bakery to everyone. However, yesterday morning I went to your Brooklyn location to bring home bombalones for family. This morning the strawberry on top on one is literally covered in mold. This is absolutely unacceptable! Unfortunately I'm already back out of state so I can't even come back to get an exchange. I spent around $75 yesterday.... and I get MOLDY food.“
“THE. BEST. Almond croissant I’ve ever had. I’ve been to Europe and all that but this??? Unlike any other croissant. Saying that I highly recommend this is an understatement. Was also graced with beautiful music from a quartet outside on a Sunday around noon.“
“I bought a sandwich and some canele in ubereats. They gave me a written note for the missing canele(since they ran out of it), tell me to refund, and even added other pastries in bag for compensation…never seen a better service in my whole life, most importantly everything tasted AMAZING!!They had just earn themselves a new costumer, this made my day, thank you so much.“
“Pastries by Anne is one of our favorite shops in the neighborhood. You can count on Anne to always greet you with a smile and to have unique and inventive flavors available. I’m a huge fan of both the Thai iced tea cake and the Triple C. She’s also made cakes for our celebrations, which our guests devoured. We are so lucky to live close to such an incredible pastry shop and Anne herself is the absolute best!“
“Visited The Pastry Box this weekend, and I loved it! This spot has been on my list for a while, and it was definitely worth the visit. We only tried the doughnuts, but they were so good, definitely up there for my favorite NYC doughnuts. I loved the interesting flavors (rhubarb and tarragon, and the flavors rotate which is fun). Will definitely go back to try their other baked goods. We also met the owner who was really lovely. Highly recommend!“
“Had an unforgettable date night at Farm to People! We indulged in their burger and fries - easily one of the top best in NYC. The Brussel sprouts? Crispy perfection. And the gnocchi? Simply incredible. If you haven’t treated yourself to this spot yet, you’re missing out. It’s a must-visit!“
“We went here for the first time and had the most amazing experience. The espresso was great, pastries were phenomenal, and the owner made us feel right at home. 10/10 would highly recommend. Can’t wait to come back next time we’re in the area.“
“My daughter, my child always finds the best places to take her mama to. And babeee these donuts along with the customer service were definitely a win for me. I am vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian ;) and I chose from the vegan section and when I tell you the pumpkin glaze donut and the vegan plain donut warmed up for less than 50 seconds in a microwave were the best thing my hour glass figure didn’t need, I am not lying. These donuts were simply delicious, so delicious imma get the heck outta the city and not come back to it for atleast 2 years. lol. There isn’t anyway I can always have these donuts at my finger tips. But hands down this is a must try and definitely recommended establishment one has to visit any time in the New York area! Now, off to the gym, omg!“
“I absolutely love these cookies. The line was down the block on a nice fall Saturday afternoon but it moved so fast. 15 minutes from start to finish. Amazing cookies, by far the most unique chocolate chip cookie. They are massive, 1 cookie is like having a large piece of cake with icing. They are not the “grab a handful” type of cookies. They are baked crisp on the outside and gooey melty in the middle- all the time every time! Extremely worth it!!“
“Great little coffee shop. Delicious macchiato. Staff was friendly, and informative. They make all their syrups in house. Not a lot of seating. Music was great and not too loud. They have some delicious pastries. Coffee presentation was average, but the flavor was perfect.“
“We got a fresh batch of spongecake. It was delicious. Not too sweet and not too stale. Nothing better than fresh spongecakes. Also it's only 1$ for 1 original spongecake. Try to go here before 2, because that is when they make the cakes fresh. The service was also very good.“
“Wow! This is a little hidden gem. This is probably the best coffee I've ever had in NYC. Doesn't taste burnt at all like most other places and it has a nutty aftertaste. Really delicious - doesn't even need syrup flavors. The chocolate chip cookie is divine and tastes homemade! I'm so happy I stumbled upon this little hole in the wall. It's tiny inside but there are a few tables / stool seats by the window. It's a great spot to bring a book and people watch. They have a bunch of other pastries that look delicious as well and I'm excited to try them all! This spot is just steps from the L train at Grand St. Don't miss it! Super friendly service, quick, and delicious. What else could you need?“
“Sandwiches are expensive here!! Around $17 so be prepared. The bread is phenomenal though. The triple chocolate croissant is delicious - very flaky and not too dry. Would recommend. The pistachio croissant was a tad too dry and wasn’t standout.“
“Really great sourdough baguette, I'm still thinking about it! I got the tahini spread and it went well with the baguette. My friend got the Mediterranean quiche which was vegetarian and had zucchini, feta, tomato, and onions. She loved it! They are very sweet even though we can in and out 30 mins before closing and they didn't have many other customers. It's a warm homely space and smells delicious!“
“Lovely, compact Scandi bakery with a small market in the back with selection of Haribo licorice and more.We ordered the sausage breakfast sandwich, cardamom bun, and salmon focaccia. When I come back, I’m definitely going to order the breakfast sandwich with a perfect brioche bun and thick multi-herb green aioli/sauce as the bottom layer! This was the most memorable of the items. Salmon was generously applied to the focaccia along with thick chive cream cheese, but the flavor combination wasn’t quite as unique in the lox bagel capital of the world. The cardamom bun could benefit from, well, more cardamom. And I fully admit that I’m not being quite fair on this front after having tasted the cardamom buns at Juno Bakery in Copenhagen, which are laced with so much freshly ground cardamom throughout that the scent fills the surrounding neighborhood. If you’ve tasted these buns, Smor’s will underwhelm you, but they are definitely one of the best in NYC.“
“Love this place! They have amazing sandwiches and bakery items. They bake their own bread and the scallion pancake croissant is my favorite. They recently started doing donuts on Sunday but get there early because they usually sell out before noon. They also sell sandwiches on a pricing scale to make it more affordable to people in different income ranges. Tip- you can early to have them hold any pastry item because they usually sell out early“
“I went this place after work and hit the spot. We had a delicious hot chocolate like I have not tried anywhere else, super tasty and delicious.m, it doesn’t need more sugar. The maple cruller was delicious but the passion fruit was exotic delicious and unique ! The staff very friendly they make you feel at home ! I loved the place and I will definitely go back!“
“Russ & Daughters is a Lower East Side institution famous for its classic New York bagel experience. They offer a wide selection of delicious smoked fish, caviar, and schmears, making it a perfect spot for a quick and satisfying breakfast or lunch on the go.“
“The spot to stop at when in New York. The consistency of this sponge cake is remarkable. $1 for original and $1.25 for flavored..there is a sponge cake with chocolate in it and it just bursts with flavor. It taste authentic just like the ones from Hong Kong ??. This shop is off the main street and if you don’t see the sign you’d walk right past. The Best Sponge Cakes in New York.It is like a sterile cafeteria in here and clean. Go early in the morning when all the flavors are out. Later in the evening almost everything is almost gone. Check it out and you’ll be glad you did.“
“Very warm and cosy ambience & fantastic service. The bread was insanely delicious (it won best baguette in nyc competition) and breakfast experience was phenomenal. Be mindful — you have to order first and then find available table; there’s also outdoor seating. Otherwise cannot recommend this place enough :)“
“Came here to get a light snack for dessert and there are interesting sweets they have for display. I just wanted something conventional so I chose a chocolate fudge & peanut butter cake. Don't let the modest size of this slice if cake fool you, it filled me up proper, maybe because I had this after a meal but the cake itself was so tasty I had to endure finishing the rest of this because I did not want to waste this. Maybe this would have been best as a standalone snack but it was worth getting. I'll revisit again soon.“
“What a treat this place is! I was working a gig in the area for 5 days and I came here every morning!! I got the ham and cheese croissant the first day and I was hooked. MAN, is that thing GOOD!!! So yummy. I also tried the egg sandwich on focaccia, which was delicious. And I tried two of their cookies, I very highly recommend the triple chocolate. *chefs kiss*. I bought half a loaf of sourdough to take home as well. The only item I had that I didn't care for was the orange cream brioche. Everything else was a winner!“
“4.4 stars. Reasonably priced boxed take to take home stuffed buns. The bun is very light and fluffy. The red roast pork filling was a good amount and the taste was pretty good. We liked the smaller, slightly sweet, baked, 8-to-a-box, red roast pork buns better because of the higher meat to bun ratio. I tried the salted egg custard bun for the first time and it was pretty good. Comparable to Go Believe Bakery on Grand, which always has a consistent amount of meat but less airy bun.“
“Highest recommendation ever. Ordered for thanksgiving- delivered to my door. The most delicious apple tarte narmande ( sp?j so much better than a plain apple pie. And pain du chocolate . (Croissant w chocolate. for the morning.) please excuse bad French names for these delicious pastries. Getting ready to order my Christmas deliciousness.“
“I got the almond bun and Americano, and half a loaf of bread. The waiter put two almond buns on my tab and when I mentioned I had only one towards the end, they behaved as if I made a mistake! Aside from poor service, it’s a nice place and the quality of the bread and pastries is fine!“
“Stopped by and got the cold brew with cherry syrup. Omg game changer. Literally no one is offering cherry syrup and I believe Patent’s housemade. The cold brew was so divine with it. Jonathan was my barista and was warm and inviting. Always loved coming here in the past. I’m happy I rediscovered it again.“
“woke up with a craving for the perfect blueberry muffin and Rex delivered. super soft, fruit forward muffin with a perfectly crusted top, sprinkled with sugar. so so good. they also make a proper cappuccino and have great ambiance with pleasant music, nyt copies, and books to peruse. I will definitely be coming back for a lil Saturday morning outing one of these days.“
“I just had the best tuna melt panini and Cipriani beverage at Brooklyn Hero Shop. Customer service and conversation is amazing. Sandwich was so tasty #brunch was amazingVegetarian options: There are vegetarian options availableDietary restrictions: There is an option for Dietary restrictionsKid-friendliness: There is accessibility for strollersWheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp as well window service available at this location.“
“This is a store specializing in delicious mousse. My recommendation is the passion fruit flavor.Other flavors tend to be sweeter, but the passion fruit flavor is sweet and sour, and when eaten with other flavors, it brings out the goodness of the other flavors. The passion fruit flavor was the least I expected before I bought it, but now it's a must buy.Overall, the texture was good and it was like eating a mousse cake from a high-end restaurant. Considering that, I think it's a pretty cheap price.I've only purchased take-out items, but there is an eat-in area, and I feel like the customer base is mostly cute women. It was never crowded, giving the impression that it was a hidden gem of a sweets shop. It's in East Harlem, so I'm hesitant to go there, but I feel like Japanese tourists can walk up to East 100th without worrying. This is my favorite sweets specialty store.A mousse with a smooth texture.I especially recommend the passion fruit flavor. When eaten with other flavors, the other flavors stand out even more.“
“I enjoyed the avocado toast, with two fried eggs (extra) (they don't do poached). Nothing fancy, nothing catchy. When it came out I prejudged and was thinking, oh hmm, this might not be good. But overall the avocado and the eggs were good enough for a 4⭐, and I think the two things that helped to push it over the edge to 5⭐ were the bread and the pickled peppers. In particular the pickled peppers added a little bit of sweetness and a little kick. Pleasant surprise.Matcha latte was reasonable and not remarkable -- lacking in latte art but slightly making up for it in portion. Also, could have been sifted/whisked some more because there were lumpy chunks at the bottom. Nevertheless I won't let this pull down the 5⭐ for food.~10am on a rainy Sunday morning but the place was almost full. And there was a robust pickup / delivery business.“
“First and foremost, their pastries are wonderful! Came in the morning when everything was well stocked. They had a variety of bomboloni (Italian fried doughnuts), croissants, cookies and muffins. They had at least 3 different flavors of bomboloinis (orange spritz, blueberry/raspberry, strawberry cream) and at least 4 type of croissants (butter, everything, basil cream cheese, espresso). There were even more but I've forgotten. I got two sweet and two savory ones plus an Americano. The total was $28 which in my opinion is a decent price for NYC. I saw a board outside that a breakfast sandwich and drip coffee combo is $9. Other than what's displayed, they also have a food menu. I noticed someone ordered an everything croissant with egg and salmon or prosciutto. It looked really good so I will definitely be going back for that. They have a large space. There are cozy seats and tables at the front. The back has plenty of tables and chairs. They even have a long bar table with high chairs against the wall opposite their open kitchen. They also placed a few tables and chairs on the sidewalk. Most importantly, they have one clean handicap assessable restroom. Next to that there is a storage area that they tried to shield with trees. I appreciate they try to make the space pretty and clean.“
“A hidden gem in Tribeca and hands down one of the top bakeries in NYC!We tried sicilian pistachio ($7.5) and Kouign-Amann (caramelized croissant, $5.5). Pistachio croissant was the best one I have ever had in the city. It was so buttery and flaky. It is true that they are slightly more expensive than other bakeries, but I highly recommend trying their pistachio croissant. you won't regret“
“I was cast under the spell of consumerism and got the $15 cookie tin.As for the cookies themselves they are pretty good, a little on the sweet side and a touch overpriced. But when in New York, one must try Levain Bakery. Service was very friendly and fast, interior was quaint and perfect for your social media photoshoots. I wouldn't go out of my way to visit again but who am I to turn down a warm chocolate chip cookie?“
“We had ordered a baby shower cake. The base was a Jaffa cake with butter cream frosting. The cake was fantastic in the way it looked and the taste. The service was excellent. Ms. Marie is a talented artist. Would highly recommend this place!“
“This was recommended by Future Canoe YouTube channel. Takeout only. I had a pineapple pork bun. Delicious! Taste similar to what I had in Singapore. I also ordered the shiumai (pork dumplings), the best shiumai I've ever had. Big pieces and full of meat. I would come back for sure. Because it's takeout only, it's quite hard to eat outside the restaurant but so worth it. Service was quick even though there's a line.“
“Before you go here you should know you can only buy 3 bagels w/ a side (butter, cream cheese, etc) for $12( you cant buy a singular bagel! There’s no bacon, egg bagels or anything like that! The only thing I didn’t like is that you had to cut the bagel open yourself with a wooden knife & put your cream cheese inside & the whole point of buying a bagel sandwich is that you don’t have to make it yourself ( if your on the go or anything) and here you have to, which I’m pretty sure that’s the whole point of the shop. But I might as well buy a 12 pack of bagels & butter at the store for less than $12 and do it at home because it’s the same thing.Anyways I stumbled upon this place & would definitely visit again because the bagels were delicious & crunchy! There was a line but it went super fast because all they do it throw the bagels in the bag & give you your side.“
“Such a cute bakery/cafe... Just the right size and ambience for a chat with friends! The lady in front was so sweet! It looks to be family-owned? I could be wrong... I love that they have a variety of pastries... It's a true delight seeing the love they put in their craft. No frills and homey. :)“
