“I need to say that Renee and Carrie are amazing! Very amazing service, being able to be answered in French at the boutique was amazing! I drove twice in 2 days to grab cupcakes and cookies… I cannot say what’s my favourite out of the cupcake, the brownies, the cookies etc because everything was decadent and not too sweet. You taste the quality of the ingredients and the love they put while cooking them. The fact that Carrie was answering me while the business is close is a sign that she’s passionate and that she care about her client. They’re on the expensive side compared to other bakery, but once you compare you understand why… You taste the butter in everything! If you like some fluffy, moist, creamy cupcake this is your place… While planning my wedding, I’ve compared a few bakery and non are as good as this one… Thank you for the amazing experience and taste!“

“Excellent Turkish bakery they have the best rice pudding and I also tried the chocolate moon cake which was not my favorite it was good . The almond pudding is also very creamy and yummy . They have a lot of food here, but I haven’t tried it but all the food I seen looks very good. I will be back here. I’ve been here two times so far.“

“Modern Cakery is the best place for all of your bakery needs!! We ordered cookies for my son's birthday and they were absolutely delicious. We also regularly stop by the bakery for an after school treat. The owners were sweet enough to get to know my kids, and let us know when they'll be making their favorite cookies! Truly, the most wonderful people. 10/10 recommend.“

“Beautiful display - but the cake does not taste anything special. Olive oil cake was unique in the sense that you won’t find it in most other bakeries. Also very pricey - I believe the signature cake was $18.

“I’m honestly obsessed with these cookies. They are incredibly delicious and so appetizing. What I love the most is that I’m usually not into sweets at all, but these are just perfect.

They’re not overly sweet — just the right balance. The almond flavor is so rich and comforting, and the cherry adds this slight sour touch that makes everything come together beautifully. It’s such an amazing combination.

“This is a small coffee and cake shop in a large space of slot machines and food halls, which are usually in malls. I do not know if there are enough connoisseurs of the exquisite taste of these cakes in that place. But the cakes were very fresh and delicious. Wonderful coffee and a very friendly girl served me, carefully bringing the brewed coffee to the table in a large food space. Here you can also buy a wonderful cake. very tasty!“

“Don’t be fooled by the smallness of the place. The breakfast sandwiches are some of the tastiest I’ve ever had. I was looking to order a cake for a birthday, and I was impressed by their photos on Instagram as well as the flavor of the slices they had for sale (one of which I received as a gift). “Man… this is one of the best businesses in existence. I’ve gotten various cakes from them over the years , and every single time they have been consistently delicious, rich, and exuberant. The tres leches is not too sweet, and the frosting complements the cake as well. It’s overall a very well rounded cake.

The service is spectacular as well — they can prepare an order for you in no time, and will decorate it and ensure that it is beautiful. All the while being as friendly as possible.

And the price, is more than fair.

Must be a domestically made coffee. Wish they would use a true Italian espresso like Illy at the least. Other than that I'll be back.“

“OMG! I am not exaggerating when I say the cake I received was not short of amazing. Chocolate Devil's Food with Raspberry buttercream. Tangy Raspberry preserves made from scratch by Jaclyn as well between the layers. Everyone who ate a piece of my birthday cake could not be more satisfied with the level of artistry in the decoration as well as the execution of the taste of the cake itself. I don't think I can go back to buying store bought cakes. They would just fail in comparison!“
