“Visit the bakery yesterday, and it was worth every dollar I spend. The Pecan cream ring tasted just how I remembered when I was a kid. I also bought one double chocolate cookie, which was amazing!! I wish I bough more. The staff was super nice and helpful. I grew up in pal park, and the bakery was always the go to spot for our desserts. Keep it going and no slacking on the deliciousness. Going back today for more cookies😁“

“Stopped by over the weekend and really enjoyed the variety here.

My favorite pastry was the mushroom onion pastry. I also liked the coffee pastry and the matcha pastry with cream inside. Some of the sweeter breads were a little too sweet for me, but everything tasted fresh.

The brunch was the biggest surprise. The meat sauce pasta was simple but really good, and the clam chowder in a bread bowl was filling and flavorful.

We also tried the pistachio latte and pumpkin spice latte. The pistachio latte was my favorite, especially with the lowest sugar level.

The cafe is spacious and bright, but it gets busy on weekends and good seats can be hard to find. Some pastries also sell out later in the day, so going earlier is probably better.

Lots of choices between coffee, pastries, cakes, brunch, and ice cream. Good spot for a casual meal, coffee, or meeting friends.“

“I got the pralines & cream ice cream cake and it was delicious! The employee told me that so far it’s the only location that’s selling the ice cream cakes. I hope they end up selling it in other locations too~ My whole family (young and old) lived it and said it was really good too! The employee was also really nice, helpful, and informative. She told us the time frame that the cake can last outside and gave us some cups with ice to help keep cool since the weather was so hot. I would definitely come back for more ice cream cake!“

“My husband and I made the long drive yesterday (2 1/2 hrs each way) from upstate NY to visit our daughter in NYC just for the day. While strolling around her neighborhood we came upon your lovely bakery and cafe and after eyeing the beautiful carrot cake in the window, we had to go in. Carrot cake is my favorite sweet treat. There were so many beautiful choices, but we got 2 slices of carrot cake to take back home with us. After the long drive back home we were really looking forward to a piece of cake and a cup of coffee. I opened one of the beautifully packed boxes, which revealed an enormous slice of yumminess!! The slice was big enough for at least 3 people. I thought I had died and gone to heaven. Everything about this cake was phenomenal. The frosting was outstanding, the cake was so flavorful and moist. It was the best we’ve ever had. We have enough left for a few days. I’m so glad we stopped in. It was a great way to end our lovely day in the city and will most certainly go back on our next trek in . I will also have to get our daughter pick up some baked goods when she’s coming home for a visit. I highly recommend Crumbly Cafe & Bakery😊😊“

“I immediately noticed that this is a homemade patty. Not your traditional flaky Jamaican patty with excessive shortening or butter cut into the dough. That being said, for the lack of flake, there is no shortage of flavor. What a delicious bite. The beef and the chicken were both tasty and well seasoned.

I did not stay inside of the store longer than two minutes at most. Extremely efficient customer service.

“This place is viral on instagram according to my girlfriend. The sandwiches only come out after 11am, so you have to be smart about “lining up” Considering how they charge 14 dollars for a sandwich they were a little small. But sandwich itself was well seasoned and fresh.
Very limited seating so please be aware.

“Russ & Daughters is always one of the places I look forward to visiting whenever I’m in New York.

Everything is incredibly fresh and delicious. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients, especially the fish and seafood. They have a great selection of fish, bagels, and all the classic combinations, and everything we tried was excellent.

What I also really appreciate is how clean and well-maintained everything feels. Even with so much seafood being prepared and served, you never get any feeling of messiness or poor hygiene. The whole place feels very professional and high-quality, and the level of service matches that.

Absolutely delicious, fresh, and worth coming back to. Every time I visit New York, I’m already looking forward to the day I can come back to Russ & Daughters again.“

“Kam Hing Coffee Shop — House of the Sponge Cake absolutely lives up to the name. 😂 The second you walk through the door, this place has so much personality. It feels old-school, busy, local, and full of character—the kind of place you immediately know has a story.

And then the sponge cake… OMFG. 😭 So simple, but SO GOOD. It’s unbelievably soft, fluffy, light, and basically melts in your mouth. I took one bite and immediately understood why people come here just for this.

No crazy toppings, no fancy presentation needed. Just a warm, fluffy sponge cake done RIGHT.

There are so many places to eat in Chinatown, but this is one I would absolutely tell people you have to try at least once. It truly deserves the “House of the Sponge Cake” name.“

“One of my favorite spots in Williamsburg and I keep coming back. The citrus olive oil loaf is a must-order. Super moist, packed with poppy seeds, great flavor, and those streaks of color on top make it look cool. Get it.

The Ceremonia Cookie is essentially a birthday cake cookie and it's good but I think I'll stick with the sea salt chocolate chip next time. Their cookies are on the thinner side but are still crisp on the edges and gooey inside like a cookie should be. I will never understand why people eat TATE'S but that's another story.

And the burrito. I've had it multiple times now and it might genuinely be the best breakfast burrito in Williamsburg.
