“The food was easily the best Arab food I’ve had. Ever. The owners were super nice and actually invited us to sit instead of take out, and we got complimentary toum (also best toum I’ve ever had), peppers, pickles, and some sort of Arab bread. The bread was nice and crackly and there was a LOT of it. The toum, unlike other Arab places with toum, was actually light and had that whipped texture that is desired. The garlic flavor was on point and not too overpowering. The star of the show was easily the crispy chicken shawarma, though. It looks small in some videos, but it was wider than my mouth. I had to do some talking to find out myself, but to get the fries, toum, and pickles next to the shawarma, you need to ask for the crispy chicken shawarma combo. It was super crispy, and the breading was very nicely toasted. I kept finding myself layering the top with some pickles, fries, and more toum. They also drizzled some pomegranate molasses on the chicken shawarma, which gave it a tangy but also fruity aftertaste. We also ordered the charcoal chicken and kebab. The kebab, instead of normal beef on a stick, actually came with some yellow rice and some REALLY GOOD spicy seasoned bread that was very soft and moist on some parts and crispy on the others. You could literally see the spice particles on it. The charcoal chicken was juicy, tender, and had that charcoal roasted flavoring. It even came with a bunch of complimentary fries. The fries on both the shawarma and the charcoal chicken was nicely battered, and the shawarma fries were very well seasoned. The only thing is that the bathroom is through a door that leads upstairs, and you have to open two doors. If you’re someone like me and don’t like the feeling of putting grip on things with sticky stuff on your hands, you won’t like that. It’s one of those turn knobs. Finally, the music made me feel like I was actually back in Abu Dhabi watching fire shows while eating falafel. Please visit, they are amazing people who make amazing food!“

There sides are not the average fries or rice but more exquisite like papa la huancaina and different types of sauces from green, the usual yellow, and orange.their lunch prices with all that was mentioned is only $15 which is an amazing price. “Came here after a bad experience at a restaurant across the street and I was so glad to find a clean place with good food. My partner got aguadito de pollo and a cau cau and both were very flavorful and tasted like good traditional comfort food. I got a crema de rocoto and a lomo saltado and both were delicious and generously portioned. It was the perfect amount of food for us and we loved every bite, really grateful for the good experience here.“

“It was my first time trying a chimi sandwich and I was impressed it is basically a Dominican burger with coleslaw. The chimi is well seasoned and toasted to perfection. The chicharron Mofongo was really bad however. It was dry and greasy. I really liked the chimi but the Mofongo is not good at all.“

“Saw steak on the menu. When I asked for that order, they told me they did not have that steak but instead they had skirt steak. I went for it and did not regret. It was hands down one of the best skirt sticks I have ever had. I don't know if this is always or if I was lucky. It was that good. It was thicker than I usually get out of the places as well as more perfectly cooked and at the perfect temperature. Also the picture is incorrect. The current picture is of their old location. They have moved up the block to bigger location. This location also has parking and an outdoor area. I will be going back to have another of the same or possibly to sample the menu a bit.“

“I love Jenny. She is the nicest. She's the only reason I keep coming back very smiley and helpful. Thank you for making my day better with your kindness. This lady is a gem. The food is good too, but too busy I feel bad they need more employees. The Indian guy on the cashier is not nice and rude. He hung up the phone when I wanted to order and in person he is even worse, just wants my card to pay, barely understands English. Why they hire him, I don't know, he gives really bad energy.“

You can order it with chicken or whatever you might like. Definitely try it, they make it well. “I got there as a recommendation from my sister who said that the food was delicious. We ordered 2 lomo saltados, 1 ruleta de mariscos, 1 papas a la huaicaina. The food was good, not the best lomo salteado but really 9/10, it was really good. My brother in law ordered la ruleta rusa and said it was also good. Why I give it 4/5 stars is mostly because of the service. The waitress had a bit of an attitude. We ordered 2 lomos and one was to share and when we got the order, she brought 3, we said that we ordered 2 and she said “I’m going to take it but you said 3”, we also ordered a pitch of Maracuya juice, she brought Jamaican, and we said it wasn’t right and she said “we don’t have any juices”, again, with an attitude. It might’ve been my impression but my whole party also said that. But she was the only one. There were other two servers who seemed really kind! The music was also a bit loud for my liking, couldn’t hear well our conversation.“
