“Let's just get this out of the way: yes, I ate at Taco Bell twice in one week. On Sunday I got food from a location on East Ohio Street in Chicago; it was terrible. I cursed myself for having the audacity to dine there. "Stupid!" I shouted into the mirror. Today on my lunch break I weighed my options and decided to roll the dice. I walked up Broad Street to this location, ordered a few things from the value menu and one Doritos Locos Taco Supreme, then waited patiently for my order. It only took a few minutes, then I was out on the street tearing into my order. I was relieved to discover that everything was hot and fresh. I devoured the Beef Burrito, reveling in the hot nacho cheese, with plenty of ground beef and well-textured rice. Next, a chicken chipotle melt. This tiny wrap is so small. I've seen thicker pencils than this lil guy. Taste was okay, nothing to write home about. And then my Doritos Locos Taco Supreme. The shell had broken and it was a trial to eat this without getting sour cream all over the place. The flavor was perfect though. So so good. I can't even remember what life was like before these bad boys hit the menu. Overall, a satisfying and affordable lunch. Yes, it's fast food, and maybe I got lucky today. No idea how consistent this place is but I had a great experience. Shout out to the team who made it happen.“
“My sister and I are from out of town and decided to stop here late at night. Usually back home the work staff practically throw the food in my face and look at us in disgust for making them actually do their job, especially when making a late night stop. However, these people were so kind and sweet and endearing. When they were out of something I wanted they apologized sincerely and treated me with respect, even giving suggestions on other similar items. This even lead me to discover the strawberry lemonade drink I didn’t even know existed and it’s so good ?. Anyways, awesome work, sweet staff, and a great late night food experience!“
“I eat at Taco Bell a LOT... This is a model Taco Bell. Selena took my order, was super patient with my indecisive and picky self. She was noticeably quick on the register, and quick to approach the front counter when we walked in. The food was actually right to my order and they didn't skimp on filling the tortillas and nacho cheese which I greatly appreciate. Our order came out quick and the dining area was clean.Parking: Small lot easily accessible.“
