“Completely surprised and intrigued with the menu. This is NOT a Mexican food restaurant as the name might fool you. The shrimp taco wrapped in seaweed paper was so fresh tasting,crunchy and absolutely delish. Fried rice served in your own skillet and you mix the egg in was the best! The smores waffle with homemade custard ice-cream was to die for. Bartender Robbie is a pro mixologist with really new style drinks. This place was a treat and I cant wait to go back. We got the High Mixed appetizer and the chicken pad Thai. The sampler was good. Spring rolls were good and the dumplings were good. Couldn't do the crab for seafood allergy but the fourth item, we didn't like. It was the texture and didn't have the flavor I was expecting based on the presentation. Service was ok. They had a little bit of a crowd and got them out of there promptly. The pad Thai was really good. It had the perfect amount of flavor and it was light. We needed it to be light because it is hot outside and we still have a lot of walking to do. Overall, it was good. That last item on the High Mixed can go.“

“Fillmore Deli and Backroom is a pretty solid neighborhood spot with a surprising mix of options. The Korean fried chicken is actually really good crispy, flavorful, and definitely worth trying. They also have a large variety of sandwiches, so there’s something for whatever mood you’re in.

One thing that always throws me off though is they tend to run out of the tuna pretty often, which is strange for a deli. But besides that, everything else seems to be okay. It’s a reliable place to grab a quick bite and the food usually hits the spot.“

“Went there on a monday night and the food was incredibly impressive. Got the Char Siu Bone Marrow for appetizers and lobster fried rice and filet mignon and broccoli for entree. Filet mignon and broccoli sauce was exceptionally delicious and the meat was so tender. The service was also impeccable since we walked in til we were done.“

“I had the Beef Bulgogi Japchae. It was very good. The noodles stuck together in clumps, but I was able to shake them apart into bite sized portions easily. The Korean fried chicken wings were excellent. The fire soy garlic sauce has a nice medium spice that complements the flavor of the sauce. This was my first time trying Terra Korean Lager, and I was impressed. It has a light, crisp flavor that worked very well with my food choices. I would be here often if I lived closer.“

“This is my favorite Asian cuisine dining. Upon learning about it, it has been my sole space for Pad Se Ew, Pad Thai, Unagi Don & Sushi.
The attendant, Kayla, is amazingly friendly and cordial and ALWAYS has a welcoming spirit!!! The food & she are the primary reason I, faithfully return. Prices are reasonable and lunch specials definitely fit the affordability conversation!
Side note: the sushi is really delicious with the Spicy Blue Crab one of the best of the bunch! Sushi Chef, Lin, is always on point with the items and always delicious!
I am not ignoring the rest of the friendly staff as they support each other with wonderful hospitality!“
