“Probably the best bakery in Fort Lee, NJ area. The breads and pastries are good! Location: It is located in Fort Lee. Huge parking so its convenient! The interior is okay, great display of breads that you can just pick on! Service: pay and go, not that much interaction. Food: The breads are delicious, fluffy and still good after few days. CAKES: they have themed cakes which I like, everything is delicious and cakes are light. MATCHA CROISSANT: I don’t have a picture tho but this is good! You can taste the matcha well! BOBA TARTS: actually it is not bad, the boba were topped on a eggy tea infused cream filling. I wouldn’t order it again to be honest. Lol Price rating: 6/10, not that bad for goodies. Had a wonderful time tonight. Came in and got a myself a couple plates. Each meal was full of flavor and well done and well prepared. The waitress I had the pleasure of taking care of me was amazing.

I had the Quail and the Pig Out (for two). Except no way in hell am I sharing that with anyone lol. I ate that for myself!!!

I will say the pig out was such a cool and different kind of take on food. It’s one of those plates. You’ll probably always remember. I have dine at James beer award, winning new restaurants, and all sorts of Michelin rated and starred restaurants. The pig out is a meal I will always remember. And to me that says something.

And this is what the pig out is all about and worth the hype in my opinion …

The Pig Out. Chef Chen takes whole Berkshire pork bellies and cures them in thyme, ginger and salt for five hours before confiting them in duck fat for 15 hours. He then shreds the meat and lays it out on a sheet of pig skin, pressing it down and allowing it to cool. This create a terrine of sorts, with the gelatin in the meat binding everything. Once cooled, the pork is sliced into two inch diamonds and heated in a pan, rendering the skin shatteringly crisp. The pork is served with an arugula salad dotted with persimmons (the fruit changes seasonally) and candied walnuts, peanut noodles, a ginger scallion sauce, and a squeeze bottle of sambal. Chen recommends putting a little of the last two on each each piece of pork to achieve the “perfect bite.”

“I ordered online, and everything arrived fresh and beautifully prepared. The sushi was absolutely delicious and incredibly fresh. You could really taste the freshness of the fish, they were tender, buttery, and full of flavor. I love it!!!!!!!!!!

The beef with Chinese broccoli was also excellent. The beef was tender and flavorful, the Chinese broccoli was crisp and fresh, and the sauce was rich and savory without being too heavy. My daughter especially loves the beef with Chinese broccoli — it’s one of her favorite dishes!

Overall, everything was fresh, flavorful, and very satisfying. I would definitely order again!“

“I was there at Jian Nan Syosset, Long Island. Everything went great!! But, those took the orders needed to be more educated to understand each dishes. We were a fairly larger group than standard party size. Some dished were small and some dim sum served with small quantities, like 3 or 4. Those who order for the large group, should give suggestion to order multiple orders for the same dish. So, each one in the group can have at least one.“

We got the High Mixed appetizer and the chicken pad Thai. The sampler was good. Spring rolls were good and the dumplings were good. Couldn't do the crab for seafood allergy but the fourth item, we didn't like. It was the texture and didn't have the flavor I was expecting based on the presentation. Service was ok. They had a little bit of a crowd and got them out of there promptly. The pad Thai was really good. It had the perfect amount of flavor and it was light. We needed it to be light because it is hot outside and we still have a lot of walking to do. Overall, it was good. That last item on the High Mixed can go.“

My waitress was Sammie and she was the most attentive and sweet and helpful waitress ever !! Make sure you ask for her when you go I promise you she will give you the best experience . I went on a Sunday and there was plenty of parking but I am sure it would be more difficult on a weekday until after 6pm when street parking becomes available.
