“If you’re looking for a truly special spot in Hoboken, Julietta Italian Gelato Bakery is a must. From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed by a warm, inviting atmosphere that feels both authentic and modern.
The gelato is absolutely outstanding—rich, creamy, and full of real flavor. You can tell they use high-quality ingredients, and every scoop tastes fresh and perfectly crafted. The variety is impressive, with both classic flavors and unique options that make you want to come back again and again.
Beyond the gelato, their baked goods like the tiramisu are just as delicious. Everything looks beautiful and tastes even better. Whether you’re stopping by for a quick treat or spending time with friends, it’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy something sweet.
What really sets Julietta apart is the service. The staff is friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do, which makes the whole experience even better.
Hands down one of the best dessert spots in Hoboken. Highly recommended!“

“🥭🍓 Stopped by icy Melon and was pleasantly surprised!
I ordered the strawberry mango smoothie, and it was delicious 😍. It tasted incredibly fresh, was perfectly sweet, and had a fun jelly layer at the bottom that added a nice texture and surprise with every sip.
The drink was made fresh right in front of me and came out super fast, which is always a plus. They were also running a buy one, get one 50% off promotion when I visited, making it an even better value 💰.
If you're craving something fruity, refreshing, and sweet, this is a great spot to check out. The quality of the ingredients really came through, and I'd definitely come back to try more of their menu! 🥭🍓✨“

“This place has quickly become Hoboken’s best cafe among so many here. Not only are the drinks perfectly balanced and delicious, the food is also of exceptional quality for a cafe. You can clearly tell there’s a professional chef in the kitchen working his magic / curating the menu. Mile Square Cafe is a true neighborhood gem you have to visit when in Hoboken!“
“Blue Angel
79 Hudson St.
Hoboken, NJ 07030
Sweet Potato Slice Cake
This light, spongy cake had multiple layers of fresh cream. It was sprinkled with sweet potato pieces and topped with a round candy sweet potato.
It wasn't too sweet or overpowering, so you won't need any milk to wash it down.

“They're open early so I had to try it out!
Cute little place. They have outdoors seating available, shielded from the wind.
They don't have a much sour options for breakfast but if you enjoy sweet pastries and good cup of coffee - you should check it out!
They work fast so you won't be late for your train.“

“The perfect cozy spot for a coffee and to get a little work done. Similar to their uptown location, I’ve never had a coffees or seasonal drink I didn’t love. Even the little merchandise section always has something that’s hard to pass up. Would recommend to anyone downtown looking for the perfect spot to sip a coffee.“

“This is the coolest place. I love the chai latte and the staff is very chill. I strongly recommend“
“It’s a small cozy place with very limited seating it’s more of grab and go coffee shop. When I was visiting it was only one person working very tight space for customers I wish it was just a window and everyone waited outside.
Overall the coffee was good. The pastry selection was great we had banana bread, carrot cake and croissant everything was outstanding nothing was overpowering. Perfectly sweet and delicious.
I wish it was more a grab and go place the wait was a little irritating.“

“We went on a Sunday morning so it was astronomically busy, but the food was worth it. We waited 30 minutes for our to-go order, but it was expected when we saw how many people were inside. We also assumed if all those people were willing to wait then the food would speak for itself. It definitely did. I ordered a gluten free breakfast wrap and it was easily the best gluten free wrap I’ve ever had out. My husband had the Hoboken girl sandwich on sourdough. His smelled impeccable. If we were Hoboken natives we’d eat here far too often lol. I think we’ll be making the trip back for sure though. We might just order ahead.“
“This place has really good food but one thing they took my favorite breakfast plate away and that was the French toast I was was going there at least 3 days out of the week please bring it back to the menu. I don't wanna drive it too much crazy damn“

“I’m not trying to be dramatic but I have had gelato and ice cream across the world (all across italy, turkey, France, Japan) and the pistachio, coconut, and strawberry gelato at KikiLu is still unmatched. I know…dramatic. But truly 10/10 for me.“

“Café Sophia in Hoboken has that kind of calm, low-key atmosphere that makes you want to open your laptop 💻, put on some soft indie music 🎧, and actually get things done. It’s not loud, not chaotic — just that perfect quiet hum of conversation and espresso machines that feels like background music to your own little movie.
Right when you walk in, you’re greeted by a big “Welcome Autumn” sign — hand-painted, warm colors, and Snoopy sitting on a pumpkin holding a “Pumpkin Spice is Back!” sign 🎃. It feels personal, like something a local made, not corporate décor. The whole place carries that same homemade, genuine vibe — cozy, creative, and a little nostalgic.
Inside, it’s small but comfortable. Wooden tables, dark chairs, crate-style shelves stacked with mugs ☕, plants 🌿, framed café art, and even the Wi-Fi password in a pretty picture frame (nice touch). It’s got that balance of simplicity and personality that makes you want to stay a while.
The staff fit right into the scene — friendly without being fake, funny, and super easy to talk to 😊. They make you feel like you’re in on the inside joke of the café, not just passing through.
We didn’t try the food this time, but the coffee was definitely a win. I got an iced cinnamon hazelnut coffee 🧊☕ — smooth, flavorful, didn’t even need sugar. My boyfriend got the pumpkin drip coffee; the pumpkin flavor wasn’t super strong, but it still tasted solid — warm and cozy enough to match the season 🍁.
Prices hover around $5–6, which is pretty standard for Hoboken, and they serve Lavazza coffee — rich, smooth, and consistent every sip.
It’s the kind of place that makes you want to be productive. You could easily set up here for a few hours, do homework, read a book 📖, or just stare out the window people-watching between sips. There’s Wi-Fi, a quiet vibe, and a steady flow of customers that keeps the space feeling alive without being crowded.
⭐ Rating: 4.3/5 well-worn notebooks 📓
Come for the calm, stay for the comfort — and maybe bring your laptop and a playlist that sounds like early fall.“

“Toast & Bowl is a hidden gem! The Bulgogi Rice is packed with flavor — tender, perfectly marinated beef over warm rice that’s both comforting and satisfying. The Popcorn Chicken is crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and seasoned just right — seriously addictive. And the Sweet & Spicy Sandwich is the perfect balance of heat and sweetness, with a delicious crunch in every bite. Everything tastes fresh and well-made. Definitely coming back for more!“
