Small area of improvement: It would be better if you did not turn off the lights to sing happy birthday. We went on a night where there were several birthday dinners, and it was a bit annoying for other guests to turn all the lights off.“

“I placed an order today for 7 pizzas online for a 4 year birthday party that was already in progress (bad planning on our part)! We wanted the pizza delivered around 1-1:15 but the DoorDash confirmation said delivery would be 7pm, well after the time the party would be over. I called the restaurant and explained that I would like to just pick up the pizza. I was in a panic that we wouldn’t get the pizza on time. I drove there to pick up and not only was were the 7 pizzas ready, they hand delivered them to my car so I didn’t have to worry and parking, and refunded me the delivery fee. “Ok!! We usually come here for breakfast and great coffee but we just ordered our turkey, stuffing, gravy and apple pie for Thanksgiving from Alessio’s and it was AMAZING. They delivered it promptly, gave us extra gravy, and the option of having it pre-sliced. The turkey was fall off the bone good, and came in its own juice. I will be ordering from here next year for sure!!

“Fantastic pizza, probably the best in Hoboken. Unfortunately, it seems corners are cut just about everywhere except the food. Only room temperature bottled/canned beverages are available, and there is no free water. They charge extra if you don't pay in cash. The restaurant is closed on Tuesdays and isn't even open for lunch on weekdays. Despite that, I still once had to wait about an hour for appetizers, only to be told the kitchen was still not open, and that we'd only get our pizza. The fact that they still get 4 stars after this should tell you how good the pizza is.“
