“My first trip to Jersey lead me to Tinos and I am so lucky to have found them! Their cute outdoor dining area was shaded. Menu has tons of options - I had the Margherita pizza, Pinot and a cannoli! All are delicious and I can't wait to return. The pizza is the best I've ever had - crispy but still foldable thin crust, flavorful sauce, and top quality mozzarella and EVOO. My waiter was kind and attentive, who informed me that Tino still comes in and does things like weeding the plants. He also said that they are terrific employers. Not many places today hit all the check marks, but Tino's hits it out of the ballpark.“

“One of our favorite places in the city! We go often be it a latte on the way to the park, the amazing garlic parm chicken tenders ?for only $8! It’s a good deal! They also make this amazing breakfast pizza on the weekends and it’s to die for! You can also get homemade sweet treats! The seating area is comfortable and cute. I recommend calling your order in if you want to pick up, everything is made to order! Slice is the cheapest app to order through if you’d like delivery! Oh! And the RANCH!!! “Stadium Pizza has been here many many years, decades. The quality of their pizza is amazing and has not changed, consistently good every time. A solid choice if you’re in the Rt 440 area and a quick detour to avoid the mayhem of 440/Communipaw traffic.

The interior is quite nostalgic of the old New York Style pizzeria the only thing missing in the plaza is a Blockbuster Video next door! ? ?“

“I have eaten here twice so far and I enjoyed it every time. I would describe the taste as very well balanced: not greasy, light on the palate, and the saltiness is just right. The sauces have a mild but richly seasoned flavor while the dishes are cooked very well.

I would recommend the Chicken Tikka as it is their best dish.

“We order Carmine's regularly in our local pizza rotation. (It's yummy - the grandma pizza with pepperoni and the BBQ wings are our favorites). Tonight something happened that made me write a review. I came in fairly late with my kid, who was feeling defeated just after a baseball loss. The kind of slices he wanted were all gone... until the guy behind the counter noticed his frown and did extra to make it happen even though they were closing up. Thank you for being so kind to us! “I always thought of this place primarily in terms of takeout but I had my daughter's first birthday there a couple of weeks ago and would be remiss not to share what a wonderful experience it was on all fronts. First of all, as other reviewers have noted the food is incredible. Every single person in our party raved about their meals--mostly pizza orders, but I had a hot sub and I could not devour it fast enough, it was so delicious. Quality ingredients and really authentic preparation. Beyond the great food though I want to highlight what a lovely experience we had at the establishment. The restaurant was so accommodating to our needs--they let us bring in our own decorations and cake, even let me come in early to set up, and it really made the day feel special and personal. Unlike most other places, they also let us relax and enjoy ourselves. We lingered for a while and at no point did they make us feel like we needed to wrap it up and leave. As the mother of the birthday girl it really meant a lot to me, and I don't think I would have gotten that experience anywhere else. “Being from Paterson, it’s very easy for me to tell if a Dominican food joint is authentic. This place is definitely authentic Dominican food. Love their res guisada. I make sure to order from here from my job at least once or twice a week as I work in an adjacent office. The owner is very nice. Great find in Journal Square.“

But I was pleased to find it fairly good! The small salad that came with it helped -- at least a little bit of vegetables is important to me.I initially thought the $24 price tag was slightly expensive if I was not going to like the dish. But since I did like it, AND the portion was likely large enough for at least 1.5 adult servings, I thought it was a pretty good deal. I ate all of it, even though I felt I shouldn't have.“

Their wings have just the right crispy texture and I'm impressed by their unique flavor options on the menu. I didn't sample the food as I was not hungry so I can't comment, However I did look at the menu and there were lots of great choices. It's directly across from the Grove Street PATH station so it's easy to get to. It is not a large place but I kind of liked the intimate atmosphere. There is also outdoor seating with a covering. A good chill place to hang out for me. I posted a pic of a cool patron I met and talked to. We exchanged numbers and stay in touch now. I also posted the menu.“

The place is the cleanest place I’ve ever been to. Another awesome thing about the owner is that he has a hand in many sponsorships for kids and young adults in Jersey City.
