“Loved the ambience in this great little find! Having traveled to Sichuan province, I can attest that the food really has authentic flavors (albeit kinder to the American palette). The Juju cocktail is outstanding. Would definitely come back to this place try other dishes.“

“Solid stuff but not as mind blowing as the other reviews say (though this depends if you’ve had good Chinese food before).

Fish was solid but a little too heavy on the batter to fish ratio. Eggplant was simple but good. The silken tofu was really solid texturally - might’ve been the standout dish for our meal.“

“Shan is where you go when you want to do anything from grab a casual meal to celebrate a milestone in life. They also deliver which randomly takes a long time but it’s so good you don’t care when that food hits your mouth. Shan is a household word which we judge all other eating experiences by.

“Ma po tofu (with meat, the women sitting next to us got it with mushroom and we felt so fortunate we stuck to the classic because they were complaining about the flavor), garlic string beans, fried rice, Dan Dan noodles. Can’t go wrong with their version of the classics.“

“Excellent food, but the service is what truly made this place stand out. My friend unexpectedly had to take a phone call, and since the restaurant was quiet, the staff kindly turned off the music so he could hear. When he was done, they even reheated his meal without us asking.

That kind of genuine thoughtfulness is rare these days. Great food, wonderful people, and exceptional hospitality. Highly recommend supporting this restaurant—we’ll definitely be back!“

“Ok, this place is an experience. Now with the all the chichi restaurants, Mama's is a break. It's a hole in the wall, mom and pop, home made style like you hadn't tasted before in other established restaurants. I feel I am in China and trying out their local foods. Their pot stickers are huge full of meat. The special Mama's noodle is full of surprises. I liked the way that we went there with 3, she pulled out the only table in there and clear the stuff on it and made it a dining table for us. The owner is very friendly and chatty. She told us they use the best Japanese made rice cooker and German made knives. If you want a homey and unusual experience. Drop by when you are in the hoods.“

“Initially wanted to go to a different spot for skewers, but stumbled upon this place instead since there were so many people lined up outside! Not the best skewers I’ve had but we did notice a lot of people ordering the crawfish and decided to order one, and it did not disappoint! So juicy and flavorful, I wish I could try some of the other flavors!! Staff were extremely quick to service and the ambiance is nice and loud haha perfect spot for late night snack/meal with friends!“

“My family and I ate dinner there last night. The food was all delicious! Our server was great. Actually, everyone working was great. I liked that we were asked if anyone had any food allergies. Our cocktails lived up to their descriptions. I definitely will be returning to Red Bowl!“

“Delicious mapo tofu (vegetarian)! I got the lunch special that came with rice and a soup. The mapo tofu is made with Szechuan peppercorn so it's numbing on the tongue. I got takeout and thought it was very considerate of them to put the entree in a plastic bag.

Edit: I got it again and it was lacking in spiciness and salt so this dish is a hit or miss!!“

“It’s a hole in the wall Chinese place with great prices and great food. The A + B special is borderline customer robbery and the women behind the counter is a always friendly if you are. I visit here 1-2 times per week and will continue doing so.“

Tso Chicken/Shrimp Pad Thai noodles/String beans in Garlic Sauce.7/11 I'm adding to this review.As I said before food is good but I'm noticing that pad Thai noodles is chintzy on the shrimp and chicken. I call them back to say so and now I'm told "what do you expect? How much chicken should go in with the noodles." I responded back " it shouldn't be a portion for a baby. I don't need to pay $10.25 for a box of noodles with dime size pieces of meat. I also let them know that I'm going to write a review on this. So goodbye Panko, your loss plus referrals. ?“

“Delicious, satisfying, amd reasonably priced. Wish I was able to share the exact names of the dishes I had, but I would be giving false information. One was grilled fish, and the other was a boneless fish. They give you rice on the side so be sure to come hungry.“

“Love this chinese fast food spot! I order out from here at least 3x/month. Typically, my husband gets the boneless spare ribs white rice combo with wonton soup. I get the shrimp with broccoli, white rice or pork fried rice combo with egg roll. Never disappoints. The soup broth is definitely elevated, better than the typical Chinese food spot. Interior needs a major update.“

“Ordering the food over the phone is the worst thing anyone can do. The receptionist will mess the order up. You can be on the phone with her for 20 mins, and the order will still be messed up. To place an order is best to do it in the store. The guy at the counter will try to give you the wrong amount of money back, but besides that, the food is good.“
