“This restaurant near the movie theater with kind of small and decent. I've been to a lot of Chinese restaurants in Staten Island, but this one is New to me. I stopped here to get lunch after I saw the movie Migration.?? ?? I liked the prices that they have on their menu and their appetizers. I asked for a chicken lo mein lunch combo with an eggroll. Came out to $12. A good price for lunch, but I should have asked for some more sauce packets. I would deliver here but they're so far away from my house ?. This spot is kind of fancy and if I were you, I'd rather try it out.?????“
“Most of the food is really good.I would highly recommend the hot and spicy chicken. It's phenomenal IMO. But the spiciness varies depending on who cooks it I guess. Also their Thai curries are good. The panang is the best. They have wonton soup alternatives which is also really nice for those who don't eat pork. There really isn't a good amount of Thai food on the island, and this place tries to fill that gap, and they do it well.“
“I rarely eat Chinese food at a restaurant it’s usually takeout. However, on Saturday after shopping and the heavy rain we decided to stop in bay ridge and we decided for a change instead of Italian and I’m glad we did because the food was delicious the manager and all the staff were very friendly and accommodating I will definitely be going back the atmosphere was friendly and very warm I really enjoyed the experienceKid-friendliness: I didn’t have children but there were many families with children fascinated with the large fish tank with big fish“
“The dining environment is clean and tidy, and all service staff are very friendly. I ordered boiled beef and dry-pot cauliflower. The food was served quickly by the kitchen. The price was not expensive judging from the amount of food, and the taste was very good!“
“This place deserves a much better review! This is by far the BEST Chinese food place in Jersey City area since Jiangnan has sloped tremendously towards the South. Every dish tastes authentic and unique. The spicy dishes are consistent and harbors the unique seasoning. Love the kick on my taste buds! Keep the good working going. ????“
“Four stars on the basis of fairly decent food. They would do well to replace the benches with more comfortable chairs and hire a trained wait person. Maybe they were short staffed, it did snow in the AM…but I was jumping out of my skin watching the two of them running back-and-forth and whipping through the swinging kitchen door trying to handle a few takeout phone orders plus the two tables that were there!“
“When in the mood for Chinese food we’ll stop everything, pre-order, get in the car and drive here for pickup. Food is consistently delicious with bold flavors that will crush any cravings. The offerings are plentiful ranging from simple to spicy to some really authentic stuff which I will at some point try.Although I’ve never eaten in, the restaurant is quiet and perfectly suited for sit down.FUN FACT - they only take Visa and cash.“
“I’ve been coming to dine in this restaurant ever since it has opened. It’s one of the most authentic Sichuan cuisine in NYC. While every dish being very delicious, the frog fish I had stood out to me. It was fresh and very similar to the one I had in China. Apart from the food, the service is also extremely good. The staff were quick to assist my needs and very polite during my dining. Definitely recommended !“
“Tried Mala Town today for the first time and I enjoyed my experience! The restaurant is nicely decorated, clean, and the menus are extremely easy to read/understand. The prices are fair and the amount of food I got in my customized bowl was great. If you're craving hotpot, a custom noodle bowl can help that craving! We also got the pork soup dumplings. The skin is a bit thick but the pork and soup inside was flavorful and they did give the black vinegar and ginger to accompany it.“
“I recently ordered from here and the food was amazing. Some notable dishes are their general tso chicken, boneless spare ribs, and their beef and broccoli was amazing too. I would definitely order food from them again, as this Staten Island spot is my favorite.“
