“Went here for dinner tonight after work and have to say the food is tasty. Staff is friendly and the owner went around to all the tables checking in to see if there is anything he could do to make the experience better. I hear the servers answering questions from patrons about dishes. We especially loved the tofu with crab meat. So delicious 🤤. The chicken soup dumplings were yummy also. The other entrees were all good. I packed the left over vegetables to go. I didn't want to let it go. Lol Very Authentic from the region cuisine. Will be frequenting this business going forward. Thank you for the great experience.“

“Food was very good and service excellent! I was slightly concerned about the grade pending sign in the window and the fact that gloves were not worn as the food was prepared and handled. The phone orders were numerous as I waited and several people ordered as I waited. This was a few days ago and my family did not have any negative reactions from consuming a large order of food. “New Dorp rejoice (and don’t be pushed away by reviews from before it was bought out by new management)!!! We finally have a legit Chinese food spot. And what’s better? It might be one of the best and cleanest on the whole island. I’ll admit, I can be a pain in the butt with my order (who else orders soup without chicken?) but China Wok delivers every time. Not only that, but they remember me. My son and I are greeted with happy faces, people I’m proud to say are my neighbors. Prices are more than reasonable in a time where everything seems to be so expensive now, and the food is fresh and delicious. Im embarrassed by how well we’ll get to know each other, but they have me locked in!“

“Had only gotten take out from here, rice rolls and fruit teas before coming tonight. I'm so glad we decided to eat in. The portions were big enough to share, great value for the money. The service was friendly and professional, our server was such a nice guy.

Food was hot and fresh, we got more traditional dishes but there are things like sweet &sour and Kung pao chicken and soups you'd recognize from any Chinese-American spot.

Looks like most of their business is take or or on-line orders but they have a clean, spacious dining room. Worth it to sit in and enjoy but remember good food takes time :^)“

“My husband and I went to SIU Kitchen for the first time today. The food is excellent. We had their Coconut Chicken broth for our hotpot, (as I don’t like spicy foods), which was delicious. Hamachi crudo was fresh and contrasted well with mushrooms and vinaigrette (a tad too salty) . Bright and bitter broccoli rabe, with breadcrumbs, chili and garlic was perfect and could have been a whole meal! Shrimp was fresh. I am very selective. “I placed a catering order for news years eve. Food was ready on time, hot and delicious. It was a nice treat for my guest!! I ordered spare ribs perfectly cooked, roast pork fried rice was old school not yellow rice it was fried and delicious, general tso chicken was crispy and fresh, shrimp with vegetables was also very tasty, chicken lomein was hot a delicious not oily and finally enough eggrolls to feed an entire block. “This used to be one of my regular spots back in the '80s, '90s, and early 2000s. Haven't been here in about 25 years. The decor is exactly as the same as it was back in the day. I don't mean the same motif, I mean it's like exactly the same stuff in here as it was 40 years ago lol. And that isn't a bad thing, the place looks awesome.
