“It's great-tasting, well-made Chinese food. By well-made I mean you're NOT going to receive food that's drowned in grease, or all mushy like it's been sitting in a steam table for hours.They have a great selection of different styles. All the standard stuff, plus Szechuan and Cantonese specialties. The prices are reasonable. Staff is very nice. I love that when I order delivery, the driver is from the restaurant, not some internet service.I used to think I'd never find good Chinese food in this area, until I tried Hop Hing. Now I wouldn't go anywhere else.“

“Some of these poor eating comments are ridiculous. I’ve eaten Chinese food all over Jersey and this place tops them all. I don’t care about the atmosphere or customer service! The food at this restaurant is the best. Best Chinese food restaurant I’ve eaten at. I moved out of the area and I can’t find a Chinese restaurant that’s as good as this one. When I’m in the mood for Chinese I just take a 30 minute ride and it’s worth it!!“

The soup was incredibly tasty, and the 'mini' size with extra fish was more than enough to feed three people—it’s a great value. “Vegetarians, don't let the name keep you away: this place is a wonderful option. The soup bases are all vegetarian, as they proclaim on the very first line of the menu.

I got the traditional Chinese sauerkraut soup with two kinds of tofu. Let me say up front that very few foods taste genuinely novel to me, and I love all kinds of fermented vegetables. So the second pleasant surprise (after the great menu) was the flavor of this dish. I simply could not place it. Was it some kind of citrus? Lemongrass? No, the server said, it's really just the fermented vegetables doing it. I still don't quite believe it, but it was not a taste I'd ever ever had.

The pork soup dumplings were flavorful, juicy, and full of soup. The red bean sesame balls were warm and crunchy, with the red bean paste inside soft and tasted like heaven. All the other options we ordered were delicious as well, like the chicken leg noodle soup, the fried noodles, the mango pomelo sago, and the clear shrimp dumplings.“

I have been looking for a good Chinese food restaurant since I moved to this area but have so far been disappointed until today. By far the best Chinese food in the area. Generous portions, and tasted great. It even arrived piping hot. It was also packed very well so it delivered perfectly, no mess anywhere. Just order pick up and don’t go to pricy places if u want to avoid being disappointed. I wanted to like it but just poor value since your deliver or pick up order price needs to support the wait staff. No American style Chinese food is healthy for you so stop thinking you’re doing something good by paying someone extra to do less oil, msg, etc. in summary, this is an old school place that gives you the standards for the least amount of money you’ll pay in this zip code. Not something to eat everyday, but when you need your fix for this kind of stuff.
