“We visited Staten Island for the day from Pennsylvania, and were looking for a dessert spot after eating lunch and found Yallah Habibi Desserts on Apple Maps.

We chose to come here just based off the name of the establishment and the photos of the menu. We’ve never seen desserts like this and decided to give it a try.

The gentlemen working there explained the desserts were Syrian Cuisine and explained each of the options. We chose to get the Mixed Fruit Koshari, which is a rice pudding based dessert, it was so fresh, light, and flavorful! Best dessert I could say I’ve had in a long time!

“Went there last week to see what this place was about. OMGGGGGG I can't say enough good things about it. I had the matzo ball soup and 1/2 pastrami sandwich with a side of coleslaw. Everything was absolutely delicious. The soup tasted like my grandmother made it. I cantcwait to go back and try other things, especially the breakfast options. The waitstaff was so attentive.“

High quality espresso from OSLO Roasters. I even buy the beans from them for coffee at home. The drinks are always crafted with care and they circulate creative seasonal drink specials. ☕️

The kitchen is outrageous! The chefs keep it interesting with weekly specials. One of my recurring favorites is the chorizo breakfast burrito. The chicken avocado club is also a favorite of mine. 🌯

And they are always hosting fun, creative events! You never know what event Juan, the owner, has up his sleeve. From live music after hours to local artisanal vendor markets and ceramic class pop ups, Northside has really ingrained itself in the community. ❤️“

“I'm so glad the neighborhood has this place. The menu is extensive and has a lot of different things to try. Their spring rolls, sandwiches and tacos are delicious and fresh. The pho soup is hearty and filling, but I wish they had more topping options like bok choy or some vegetable. The owner is very friendly and on multiple occasions, has brought me some chips and sauce while I waited for my takeout order. She is very accommodating and has definitely earned my trust as a return customer.“

“Visited a restaurant for the birthday party in May 2022. Clean, welcomed staff, good service, a lot of parking on the street. We placed an order. It was not too long, which is good because the reservation was for 6:30 pm and everybody was hungry. Appetizers were delicious especially both types of calmers. 3 people ordered NYS trip stakes. OMG! All 3 stakes were stingy. Nobody finished the stake. Medium and well done came up the same. Black color even tongue was black after eating the steak. It's because when cooked the steak did not clean the grail. Also, I recommend checking your receipt. We found 3 items that we did not get on the table for a total of almost $80. One of them we never ordered, and two newer ones were delivered to the table.“

“Food was very good. Had Fajita Duo and Cheese Nachos. Prices were decent. Menu was limited. Problem was the flour pancakes were very small (Maybe 6" round (4) for the dinner we had. Six Tortillas would of been fine for that dinner. We asked for more and they gave us 3. Noticing the bill I WAS CHARGED for the 3 extra ($2.50)? That's Not Good Business. I have never been charged for a few extra tortillas. I will not go back or recommend. Disappointed. It was freezing in there.“

We went with the Turkey Dinner and it was perfect. What a tender bird, roasted perfectly. The tiramisu at the end was the cherry on the cake. Best I ever had! I know sometimes it's hit or miss when you go out to eat on a holiday! Not the case at the Marina Cafe! And of course, the view can't be beat! ? — at Marina Cafe.“

Sal, the manager, offered his condolences, then proceeded to make us enjoy our lunch as much as possible, under the circumstances. He said “let me feed you a fantastic meal”. He then brought out, family style in largebowls, salad, calamari, several pizzas, ziti, bread, chicken parm, dessert , etc. He kept asking if we wanted anything else or more of anything. The service and the food were both top notch. Not one complaint from the group, which included some children. Thank you Sal and your staff for making this sad day, a reason to smile.“

Anyone who says they are rude and they waited 45 minutes for food, obviously has never been to a local establishment where everything is cooked to order. It’s not McDonald’s. I literally eat here between 4 and 6 times a week. Sometimes alone, sometimes with my family. I know everyone by name and they know mine. They even sit and have conversations with me if it’s not busy! This place is a true gem, which is why you might wait to sit on a weekend or at dinner time. There is nowhere better. “I recently visited Tim Hortons and used some app coupons $4.49 for 6 assorted donuts and $1.75 for any size hot or iced coffee. I grabbed a medium iced coffee and a box of donuts, and everything was fresh and delicious. The iced coffee hit the spot, and the donuts were soft and flavorful (especially the one with sprinkles!).

I really liked that I could sit in the coffee shop, enjoy my treats, and relax. The app makes it super easy to save money, and the deals are worth it. Highly recommend using the Tim Hortons app it saves you cash and the food is on point!“

“The place was small and dark the tvs played really nice music videos I appreciated the ones that came with English subtitles. The food was impeccable... yummy, fresh and unique There were dishes I've never tried before and they did not disappoint. Salmon Sushi definitely needs more staff if this hidden gem gets discovered, it's so hard to keep a good place a secret on Staten Island. Our server was so nice but was also taking phone food orders and handing off deliveries so an item we ordered was forgotten. Wasn't upset tho because it was definitely worth the wait and made for amazing leftovers which reheated quite well. The pad Thai was amazing and I can't wait to try the whole menu #goals“
