“As a chef, I’ve been wanting to meet Chef Peter Macri for a couple years. I was finally able to make the trip to Staten Island. I was blown away by the whole experience from start to finish. Highly recommend checking out this restaurant or Panini Grill. Even living 2 1/2 hours away, I plan to come back more often.“

“I brought my mom here for mother's day and she loved it. Food and service was excellent. I ordered the vodka sauce pasta and it was sooo good, and her salmon was very delicious. Their tiramisu was a generous serving and so delicious!!! I also really liked their latte. The servers were attentive and kind. Overall a really good experience!!“

“Had dinner for a retirement get together. I walked in and they were very busy and packed. I’ve lived on SI for years and this was my first time. Told the gentlemen I was meeting a party, he said go straight to the back. It would I have been a nice touch to be escorted there.
We were 13 and decided to do
appetizers family style. We shared the Mozzarella en Carozza, Eggplant Rollatini, and Fried Calamari. They were good. I personally liked the eggplant the best.
We all ordered our own dinner. I opted for the Red Snapper Livornese. It was really good. I also got a taste of the Veal Sorrento which was a table favorite as well.
It was a good experience. I will go back.“

“We can’t recommend Osteria Santina enough! The food is spectacular, one dish better than the other, large portions, and something for everyone on the menu. The drinks are affordable and delicious. The staff are curious, personable, and present, never leaving an empty plate in front of you or a drink empty. Whether it is for a large party or an intimate meal, Osteria Santina is your place! “Dinner with friends at DOUGH by Licastri in Silver Lake, Staten Island, highly touted for their pizza. Unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed.

I ordered their version of a Sicilian sfincione, which is one of my top 3 pizzas to order. It’s a specialty pizza, not commonly found in most pizzerias.

My friends ordered regular dinner food, however, which looked fantastic - so if I go back, that’s what I’ll do.

“Loosing cafe Luna on Paige ave was tough. It was family and it was my go to! Always knowing of this, Luna on Hylan Blvd, was told to try it. It's Pretty much the same, try it! Being apprehensive I went and I'm glad I did! I'm establishing another family real fast. The pizza is outstanding. There are different flavors. Don't get me wrong but still Stella food and service. I recommend going there if you're in the same boat as me with losing out on Paige Ave Luna. Alex and his staff are fantastic! Very attentive and it's a family atmosphere. A++++“

“The on-line menu must be very old, because the prices were almost double what was on-line. However, the food was very good, and the waitress was nice.“
