“This has become one of my favorite neighborhood spots within walking distance of my house. Food is excellent. I usually get one of the hot dogs and an order of the elote fries (which has become a huge obsession of mine). The quality is amazing and the restaurant is extremely clean. I like to dine in here because the atmosphere is nice enough to do so. The TV screens and fun art are a really nice touch. I really gotta try a burger and cheesesteak one of these days. Would also love if the elote topping can be sold as its own side too…I feel like I could eat a large cup of that by itself.“

“Had a late lunch here and it was scrumptious. You can tell from the first bite that the oil they use is clean. The smash burger I had was not even too oily compared to the other ones I had in the Staten Island area. I recommend sitting down and eating here because having it hot/fresh vs bringing it home or delivery, there is a big difference in taste!“

“Went there last week to see what this place was about. OMGGGGGG I can't say enough good things about it. I had the matzo ball soup and 1/2 pastrami sandwich with a side of coleslaw. Everything was absolutely delicious. The soup tasted like my grandmother made it. I cantcwait to go back and try other things, especially the breakfast options. The waitstaff was so attentive.“

I went with the classics: pancakes, eggs, and a side of bacon. The pancakes were the highlight—light, fluffy, and perfectly golden, soaking up syrup just right without falling apart. The eggs were cooked well, and the bacon struck that nice balance between crispy and tender.

Coffee, as always, played an important role. It was rich, warm, and exactly what you expect from a classic breakfast spot, with refills keeping the table going.

Service, however, was a bit of a different story. Visiting on Palm Sunday, the restaurant was noticeably busier than usual, which seemed to impact the overall experience. While the staff remained polite, service was slower and less attentive than one might hope. It’s understandable given the holiday crowd, but it did take away slightly from an otherwise enjoyable meal.

What stands out most about IHOP is its consistency. It doesn’t try to reinvent breakfast—it simply delivers it. Even on a busy holiday, the food held its standard, which says a lot.

IHOP may not be a culinary revelation, but it remains a reliable go-to for comfort food and familiar flavors—just perhaps not at peak holiday hours.

“On 3/18 at about 6pm, the woman working the front seemed like a genuinely happy and nice person which made our time there that much better! This was the nicest customer service experience we’ve had in a very long time which is very hard to find. Food and Oreo shake was great!! I ordered pick up and the food was hot and fresh upon picking up. we ordered the garlic knot Sicilian, my kids loved it and it in general the pizza was good . we ordered the boneless wings also were good. the pork ribs amazing just wish they had dry rub options. spinach and artichoke dip, cheese needed to melt but flavor was good and large portion. potato croquettes were also delish and come with sauce . the staten island chicken panini and twisted were also delish! beef empanadas a lil soggy but more from transport but flavor was good . (maybe dff type of container or poke holes in future ) we also had a frozen sangria that I wished after we had ordered more.. will def order again!“

“I've strictly use drive thru here for about 10 years now, and this being the only free standing BK left as far as I know, since the Hylan location closed. I cannot respect those gas station express BK ones.

I always felt the staff was nice. mobile app with great deals to have. Their food passes for my BK expectations especially the whoppers.

There's been some misses like fries on a rodeo burger instead of onion rings, and no more hot coffee, but I also hit up the place late right before closing regularly.

Fries been cold, or piping hot at times though, but were free most times with the app.“
