“We tried Hook & Reel for the first time and enjoyed it so much, we went back 2 days later. The food was well prepared, delicious, and served hot. Yummy lobster bisque, I ordered a 2nd bowl after finishing the first! Fried calamari was yummy as well. The raw oysters were perfect and the boil with Hook & Reel's own Cajun sauce was outstanding. Our server, Moe, was friendly and very efficient; he makes your dining experience error-free so you can relax and enjoy the meal. The Manager here gets credit for a well-run ship! He really appreciates the customers and it shows. You will definitely want to eat here frequently. Great service, tasty food, relaxed atmosphere - you won't be disappointed.“

“The pizza crust is thin crust and crispy. Reminds me of the pizza from Grimaldi's and Patricia's at Dumbo Brooklyn. The seafood pasta is a bargain and the sauce was tasty. The eggplant tower appetizer was also very good. The atmosphere is laid back (they use paper plates) and the device was attentive.“

“I attended a private evening function here and was immediately charmed by the beautiful, antique aesthetic of the property. The historic architecture and classic decor give the entire venue a wonderfully grand and romantic feel that makes it stand out from typical banquet halls. The food served during the reception was very good, particularly the prime rib and the baked pasta dishes, which were kept hot and well-stocked throughout the night. The service staff worked incredibly hard to keep everyone’s drinks refilled and plates cleared quickly.
