“I will start by saying the decor is fascinating! The pictures that other Yelpers have posted are extensive and accurate, It is beautiful and interesting. Service was pretty fast and friendly. The food is good, I did not know what to expect so I kept an open mind. We shared the fish kuttu appetizer, they were served hot and fresh and the flavor was excellent with a bit of heat. For my main dish I chose the chicken curry and roti, it was delicious! My husband had the pork Lamprais he enjoyed it, he said it was full of flavor. This restaurant has a weekend all you can eat buffet on Saturday and Sunday. I think we'll check it out.“

“Hop shoppe has been around for quite some time and has proven its reputation with their wide array of delicious burger. My favorite is the holy grail. Inside they have arcade games and a bar. If you're looking to have some good drinks and a great burger this is it. They have a great menu filled with different options including fried pickles! It's worth the trip.“

Fast forward a year later I decided to try it again for my daughters birthday last night since they are a few blocks away and I am tired of the ridiculous fees for delivery from most places! I dont know what has changed but keep doing what you guys are doing! Absolutely loved everything!! The pizza was absolutely delicious. Hot, fresh and sauce is so good! “Mona Lisa Pizzeria has to be one of the best pizzerias on Staten Island. Their specialty pies are top notch and definitely unique on an island filled with pizzerias that all make the same thing. For me the dough they use to make their thin squares is delicious. Has a nice chew while not being hard or crispy. For sure doesn't taste like everything else. You have to go with the gold medal square or vodka square. Clean place, with even better service. TIP: Ask for them to make your slices HOT as mine are usually lukewarm. EAT HERE!“

“Went there last week to see what this place was about. OMGGGGGG I can't say enough good things about it. I had the matzo ball soup and 1/2 pastrami sandwich with a side of coleslaw. Everything was absolutely delicious. The soup tasted like my grandmother made it. I cantcwait to go back and try other things, especially the breakfast options. The waitstaff was so attentive.“

“I'd give them more than 5 stars if I could. My mom had my dad's 85th birthday party at Mimmo's . The owner, Domenico, was incredibly flexible to the different possibilities my mom was interested in. Day of the party, his son Ralph personally took care of the main table where my parents were. ALL the staff was wonderful and attentive. But my parents were treated with incredible respect. Yummy lobster bisque, I ordered a 2nd bowl after finishing the first! Fried calamari was yummy as well. The raw oysters were perfect and the boil with Hook & Reel's own Cajun sauce was outstanding. Our server, Moe, was friendly and very efficient; he makes your dining experience error-free so you can relax and enjoy the meal. The Manager here gets credit for a well-run ship! He really appreciates the customers and it shows. You will definitely want to eat here frequently. Great service, tasty food, relaxed atmosphere - you won't be disappointed.“

“First, but not last visit. Had a wonderful waitress Samantha and the owner talked with us while he had time. I had the best risotto I ever ate here or in Italy. It was shrimp with Gorgonzola. At first I was hesitant about the Gorgonzola, but I tell you it was outstanding. The fritto misto as an appetizer was delicious and more than enough for 3 people and the salad with beets and goat cheese was delicious too. Give it a try, there is definitely a reason they are in business over 100 years.“

“It's safe to say that it's the most authentic and delicious Vietnamese restaurant on Staten Island. It's clean and the service is fast. You can park right in front of the restaurant, but it's also okay to use the street parking next to the building when there's no space available.“

“Tried Ronnie's sandwich shop next door to the 122nd police precinct here on Staten Island yesterday. Got a Pastrami ruben sandwich and an Eggplant Parm sandwich. The pastrami Ruben was real good but the eggplant parm sandwich was a little on the salty side but still good anyway. Overall the place was pretty good and also pretty reasonable. Service came with a smile. Looking forward to trying their other stuff. Now my go to place for hot sandwiches.“

“I visited the Old Bermuda Inn for the first time. I have always noticed it from the 440 Staten Island and thought it was beautiful especially when it is lit up at night. I was excited to go. I parked my own car. The front of the venue was beautiful. The school I work for hosted an event on the first floor of over 300 people and over 200 baskets. Seating was comfortable, the tables were beautiful and I was near the bar. Our waitress was on point. I ate the salad with garlic bread, penne vodka and the salmon. My husband got the Chicken Marsala. Many of my coworkers had the stake. They all came with a veggie melody and roasted potatoes. All of the food was delicious. My ultimate favorite was the dessert. It was a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a brownie. I enjoyed it so much that I took the person next to me dessert too bc they were busy dancing and it was melting. The only thing I wished for was a cup of coffee.My family has two events planned there soon. I am looking forward to going back!“

“This place is phenomenal. I was in the mood for Indian food and just threw it into a Google search and drove to this place. Parking in the back. Ordered Samosas and butter chicken with basmati rice. This is the closest thing to authentic Indian food that I've had in a while. Happy for the delicious food and great experience.“

“We were here briefly while we waited to be seated at Shaw-nae's House next door. The bartender was very personable. They were already used here to getting overflow from next door. The drinks here are so well crafted. I thoroughly enjoyed my mezcal cocktail, others had the French 75 which was equally. I really wanted to get another drink or 3rd but alas time was an issue. This place made such a good impression. I left wishing this bar was my local cheers.“

“Kudos go out to the Marina Cafe for doing Thanksgiving up right! No wonder the restaurant was packed today. A wide variety of plates to choose from today, making it hard to decide. We went with the Turkey Dinner and it was perfect. What a tender bird, roasted perfectly. The tiramisu at the end was the cherry on the cake. Best I ever had! I know sometimes it's hit or miss when you go out to eat on a holiday! Not the case at the Marina Cafe! And of course, the view can't be beat! ? — at Marina Cafe.“

“Even though I'm a native Staten Islander, I never really go to eat on this side of the Island. This place is an old school style restaurant and I heard good things about it, so at 59 years old I visited there on September 16, 2023 with my wife and another couple for the first time. We all loved the food. The menu is so big it reminds me of a diner menu but classier and we all loved our entrees and appetizers. The young waitress we had was adorable, efficient, professional and attentive. In short, we will definitely be going back to Canlons and highly recommend it to our friends and family.“
