“Food was very good. Had Fajita Duo and Cheese Nachos. Prices were decent. Menu was limited. Problem was the flour pancakes were very small (Maybe 6" round (4) for the dinner we had. Six Tortillas would of been fine for that dinner. We asked for more and they gave us 3. Noticing the bill I WAS CHARGED for the 3 extra ($2.50)? That's Not Good Business. I have never been charged for a few extra tortillas. I will not go back or recommend. Disappointed. It was freezing in there.“

“Upon answering I was greeted and seated. The appetizers which were the nacho chips tasted freshly made and the chicken and steak tacos were delicious. I also had the Elote corn which was so good comes with three.. and I love the piña colada but I had it without alcohol.. they do have an open bar. Def would go back.“

All three were super tasty, but that Carne Enchilada really stood out – so spicy, tangy, and just plain delicious. And those sauces and limes they gave me? They just made perfection even better. Plus, it was only $4.50 in NYC, can you believe it? What more could you want? They even make the tortillas right in front of you with fresh dough, not like those frozen excuses for tacos you get at Taco Bell or other chains. This is authentic Mexican food at a fraction of the price. The staff was really polite and nice too. This place seriously deserves way more publicity, 10 out of 10!“

The molcajete was absolutely deliciousserved sizzling hot, packed with flavor, and made with fresh ingredients. Every bite tasted homemade and authentic.

The service was friendly and attentive, and the whole atmosphere made us feel welcome. The portions were generous, the food came out fresh, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality you get.

You can tell a lot of care goes into both the food and the customer experience. Definitely one of the better Mexican restaurants I've been to.“

I ordered the Tacos Carnitas and it was the awesome
Portion was very generous,they double each taco with two tortillas.

It is a mistake to explore Staten Island and think the culinary story begins and ends with a pizza crust; the real soul of this borough is found on Port Richmond Avenue, in the independent markets where people still work with their hands.

I went in with a specific intent. I saw the Chorizo and Suadero on the menu and asked if they would fold that combination into a burrito for me. The staff was incredibly polite—they didn’t hesitate, they simply made it happen.

It was also more food than we expected, and was very well packed for transport. We’ve enjoyed the experience of dining at Sofia’s, and now also the catered g experience.“

“I knew this would be a great place to take some friends who had never been to Texas before and wanted to experience non-chain Tex-Mex. The neighborhood, building, decor, staff and quality of food was perfect. However, the mirachi band is too much. Way too loud. It doesn't need to be so loud. It was if the horns had to prove they could play loudly. I get it, when a mirachi band is playing you don't have conversation, but wow, it doesn't have to be so overwhelming. We will go back.
