“Authentic, delicious Mexican food. We came for lunch and both had tacos which were incredible. Felt like I was in Mexico City. Very good in house chips and salsa verde. Their hot sauce is incredible too. Our waitress was super friendly and put up with my very poor Spanish lol. I will definitely be back.“

“***BEST AUTHENTIC MEXICAN RESTAURANT STATEN ISLAND*** My Mexican fiancé moved from California here & after many trials we finally found the best! Reasons why:
1. IMMEDIATELY brought chips & salsa to the table (delicious)
2. You could hear the fajitas before they arrived from the sizzling!!
3. The tortillas were homemade!!

I also had the Elote corn which was so good comes with three.. and I love the piña colada but I had it without alcohol.. they do have an open bar. Def would go back.“

“Food was very good. Had Fajita Duo and Cheese Nachos. Prices were decent. Menu was limited. Problem was the flour pancakes were very small (Maybe 6" round (4) for the dinner we had. Six Tortillas would of been fine for that dinner. We asked for more and they gave us 3. Noticing the bill I WAS CHARGED for the 3 extra ($2.50)? That's Not Good Business. I have never been charged for a few extra tortillas. I will not go back or recommend. Disappointed. It was freezing in there.“

“So when you walk in ignore the cash only sign - that is for lunch only. This was one of the best Mexican meals I have had on the island - might be best on the island right now. Nachos were excellent - seemed like they took their homemade tortillas and fried them to make the nachos toppings were fresh burritos absolutely delicious the Mexican sausage has a touch of cinnamon in it and it pairs perfectly with everything. Even the side salad was vibrant and fresh. 10/10 go eat this restuarant. Need to keep the mom and pop shops open!!“

“First, let me say that the 3 stars for atmosphere is because it is not a restaurant "per say" but a small deli/ take out storefront that has 3 small tables to seat 10 or so people. That, by no means, detracts from the excellent food. My friend's daughter ordered steak tacos for us a few days ago and I was very impressed with the tender,tasty food and had to go there for breakfast this morning. I ordered huevos rancheros with rice and beans. The last time I had the dish prepared this way was in a small bordrr town in Texas and I really enjoyed it. Food is authentic Mexican and I will definitely be back to try other dishes.

Wheelchair accessibility: Not accessible unless you have help carrying chair up 3 steps. As I stated before, it is not a restaurant.“

“The best restaurant in the area. If you are looking for a place to eat authentic Mexican food here is the place. The food is 10 out of 10 hands down. The restaurant itself is very cozy. Very inviting staff is very friendly. You will not regret.“

Only warning is that you should practice your spanish, you dont get tacos this good without speaking spanish for them. If you like steak and shrimp tacos, When you arrive say
"Hola ¿como estas usted? Quiero tres tacos de bistec y tres tacos de camarones"
"Para volver" means "to go" if thats what you want to do.

“Hidden gem. Get Guac and Chips great 1 on 1 date night spot. Traditional taste, reminds me of Cancun mexico. Love the little decorations and the staff was very nice.

“The Best Mexican food I’ve had in the entirety of New York. The food is authentic and delicious, while the atmosphere is lowkey and not tacky like so many other places. The staff are kind, genuine, and diligent, and the food got out very quick. I’d definitely recommend this gem to anyone seeking anything to eat not only in Staten Island, but the whole of New York.

“I knew this would be a great place to take some friends who had never been to Texas before and wanted to experience non-chain Tex-Mex. The neighborhood, building, decor, staff and quality of food was perfect. However, the mirachi band is too much. Way too loud. It doesn't need to be so loud. It was if the horns had to prove they could play loudly. I get it, when a mirachi band is playing you don't have conversation, but wow, it doesn't have to be so overwhelming. We will go back. Great place!“

“Stopped by The Burrito Shoppe for lunch and had a traditional burrito. It was filled with delicious rice, chicken, cheese and veg - warm and tasty. I also tried the Cubana Torta which I will definitely order again ! Great place to meet friends and have a bite to eat.“

“Late Night staff is very nice and great energy friendly personalities everytime i visit, i call this place a lil hidden gem - open until 3AM giving options other than fast food for late night eats . Consistently- every time i order and pick up from here i see at least another 3-4 different orders being picked up other than mine this is no exaggeration. The portions of the plates are shareable and they do send customer coupons and reward $ i used my birthday coupon and points turned into money toward my order last night . My kids live the oreo and reg churros also - i get the Tres leches -“
