I don’t know how you did it, El Macho but he polished off a full plate of four carnitas tacos! The waitress was nice enough to just give him meat and added cheese but he devoured them. “Food was very good. Had Fajita Duo and Cheese Nachos. Prices were decent. Menu was limited. Problem was the flour pancakes were very small (Maybe 6" round (4) for the dinner we had. Six Tortillas would of been fine for that dinner. We asked for more and they gave us 3. Noticing the bill I WAS CHARGED for the 3 extra ($2.50)? That's Not Good Business. I have never been charged for a few extra tortillas. I will not go back or recommend. Disappointed. It was freezing in there.“

“Walked in and the service was exceptionally well! Instantly greeted from behind the counter and everything was steaming in the pans ready to go. The menu had so many options so it took a while for me to decide but I went with the Loaded Fries with a side of Rice. The Loaded Fries had Fried Cauliflower and Guac with a bunch of veggies!
Price totalled to $14.48 which is actually really great considering the mountain of food given! I pretty much ate a corner of the container and was stuff!!! The amount and taste is definitely worth the price!!“

“I grew up in Texas and enjoyed this authentic beef taco bowl for a casual and affordable dinner in Newark. The owner and staff clearly put their hearts into each ingredient in the bowl which comes together as a Tex-Mex festival of flavors.

“It’s funny that some of the reviews here complain about servers not speaking English...it’s an actual authentic Mexican restaurant what do you expect? The menus are in both English and Spanish and have descriptions if you are not familiar with Mexican food. I love this place and you really can’t beat the prices. “I have to admit that my expectations were low because traditional Mexican food on the east coast is rare as hens teeth. My wife and I were amazed to find the fresh ingredients and complimentary flavors reminded us of some of our favorite restaurants on Cozumel. My only complaint is that the food is too good for a food Truck. Mike already figured this out because he's opening a restaurant. I can't wait to see his presentation on some colorful Mexican crockery. Traditional rum, tequila, and mescal drinks would make a perfect evening.“

The birria tacos tasted so good! The beef was tender, flavorful. My pescado tacos were fresh and flavorful, & the chicken tacos were juicy and well-seasoned. The beef nacho fries were also a must-try, with generous toppings and plenty of flavor in every bite. Also the restaurant is family friendly I had an infant with me and my friends, they were super accommodating to us and made us feel so welcomed!!“

Will definitely make this my new Spanish go to restaurant. The Salvadorian Chicken Tamale was moist and dense, and the flavors mixed perfectly together. If you order the beef empanadas, ask them for their new homemade hot sauce. It's a perfect blend of sweet & heat to go with the pastry dough. Their plantains were a good addition of sweet to the dense of the meal. Their flan was the perfect size for a nice ending dessert to a very filling meal. Definitely a highly recommended place to get an excellent and very affordable meal.“

Mr. C is always making sure we are happy with what he has prepared for us. Sometimes he will add his own little touch once he gets to know you and what you like. Chipotle, Moe's and Qdoba wish they had the flavor that this place has!! I got the bowl with Chorizo and a bunch of toppings. The food was so fresh and flavorful. It may be a little difficult to get through with the turn around, but it's beyond worth it to me. To reiterate....all the employees were amazing!
