“Had a great time celebrating my daughter’s birthday tonight with a party of 10! It was nice to have our own hibachi table! Easy to make reservations, was seated quickly, food was excellent and our servers were attentive and great! Luigi was very friendly and did a great job!“

“Highly disappointed went in with a pert of 5 to celebrate a party which was explained. While having our starters waitress informs us they if we don’t mind them adding 2 of their customers to our table so that the same chef will cook for us together.The hibachi grill part only had another party with us being the second & all other tables were empty. We told her we don’t feel comfortable with that and reminded her we are here for a party. So she comes back telling us her manager said it will have to be that way and we left. I can’t be believe that lost 5 customers over 2 and they even had the nerve to tell us to move over for them to add 2 people we didn’t know to our table. If the tables were all full we would have understood why but the whole place was empty. I would never recommend this place to anyone“

“Came here with my family after watching a movie, and we were very pleased with the experience. The miso soup was honestly some of the best I’ve had. It wasn’t overly salty like at many other sushi places, where the saltiness can drown out the other flavors.

Everything tasted fresh, and the rolls were especially good. They weren’t overloaded with rice and were packed with plenty of filling. Overall, we really enjoyed our meal and left very satisfied.“

“Feeding a large crowd, this spot’s got huge customizable platters that you can order on the day of and pick it up in a reasonable price. Not the most amazing sushi I’ve ever had, but definitely upper mid. Servers were friendly and restaurant is a convenient drive with a snug parking lot. Will be ordering again!“

“While out and about in between appointments, I dropped in at Sushi Wen for lunch.

I’ve gone by it a million times and was curious; they have fantastic reviews online.

It’s a tiny place but the sushi and service were both very good - and they have great lunch specials.“

“First time here and I got the chicken and beef teriyaki with the noodles and veggies. It was delicious. In general I don't care for sushi, but the teriyaki was great and I would definitely get that again. Even though I liked it that much I'll need to try some of the other dishes on the menu first to know if it deserves a higher rating. Other than that it's a clean place with a friendly staff, not too loud and plenty of seating space and parking.“

“Tried this sushi restaurant for the first time with my husband and 1.5 year old. We enjoyed it overall. The service was great, everything was brought out so quickly and all at once (did not love that part, though). The restaurant is a small place. Atmosphere was good/okay. The food was good but not excellent, nothing to write home about.

“One of the best sushi places on the island. Consistently fresh and delicious with reasonable prices, especially for the lunch special. The passage to India roll is unique with an awesome curry sauce drizzle that I would put on everything if I knew the recipe. The staff and service are solid and the restaurant itself is nicely decorated and always clean.“

“Might be a Staten Island hidden gem because food here was GOOD. The cold noodles were exactly what my friends and I needed after a long day out in the heat. They also pack the bowl with EXTRA toppings because tell me why three girls barely finished the one bowl. I regretted ordering extra lamb skewers (which tasted delicious) because I was so full from the cold noodles. The salad we ordered was so good too!! My first time trying veal tongue and it did not disappoint.

The man serving us was such a sweetheart too, gave strong Korean appa vibes.“

Salmon Sushi definitely needs more staff if this hidden gem gets discovered, it's so hard to keep a good place a secret on Staten Island. Our server was so nice but was also taking phone food orders and handing off deliveries so an item we ordered was forgotten. Wasn't upset tho because it was definitely worth the wait and made for amazing leftovers which reheated quite well. The pad Thai was amazing and I can't wait to try the whole menu #goals“

I will ask for certain modifications on the rolls or for a dish to be made spicy and it is always beautifully executed!

“This is an amazing local sushi spot. I used to come here with my wife a lot when were dating. Since we moved away it's been about 5 years since I've been back but recently we went back and our waiter actually remembered us. Very welcoming and good food.“

They have everything you could possibly need. The store is very well organized, and easy to shop in.
I come here almost weekly, and I wouldn’t change it! They are also always on time with their deliveries. Everyone there is helpful if you have a question etc. Highly recommend if you’re in the area.“
