He was so busy with many tables, and was HUSTLING to make sure everyone was taken care of and happy. With all the stress, he never made a mistake. “Highly disappointed went in with a pert of 5 to celebrate a party which was explained. While having our starters waitress informs us they if we don’t mind them adding 2 of their customers to our table so that the same chef will cook for us together.The hibachi grill part only had another party with us being the second & all other tables were empty. We told her we don’t feel comfortable with that and reminded her we are here for a party. So she comes back telling us her manager said it will have to be that way and we left. I can’t be believe that lost 5 customers over 2 and they even had the nerve to tell us to move over for them to add 2 people we didn’t know to our table. If the tables were all full we would have understood why but the whole place was empty. I would never recommend this place to anyone“

“Great sushi place! The best I’ve tried around. It was super fresh, delicious, kids loved it too and they also noticed the difference in taste. Staff were very nice and friendly.

“first time getting food from here and it was so good! I ordered the udon and the noodles were super tender and the vegetables were fresh. also their crab rangoons are insanely good. the crust on them is super thin and fried perfectly. 10/10 would recommend“

“I would recommend making a restaurant here in Las Vegas. Genki is a staple back home in Hawaii, and no sushi place here is up to par. I feel like you folks will make a lot of money, especially because of the amount of locals here.“

“First time here and I got the chicken and beef teriyaki with the noodles and veggies. It was delicious. In general I don't care for sushi, but the teriyaki was great and I would definitely get that again. Even though I liked it that much I'll need to try some of the other dishes on the menu first to know if it deserves a higher rating. Other than that it's a clean place with a friendly staff, not too loud and plenty of seating space and parking.“

“Tried this sushi restaurant for the first time with my husband and 1.5 year old. We enjoyed it overall. The service was great, everything was brought out so quickly and all at once (did not love that part, though). The restaurant is a small place. Atmosphere was good/okay. The food was good but not excellent, nothing to write home about.

“I usually order takeout. the food is good, fish is usually fresh sometimes I get a few pieces that aren’t great. I would like to see real pineapple used in the Thai brown fried rice. It’s very good except for the giant pieces of canned pineapple.“

“This is an amazing local sushi spot. I used to come here with my wife a lot when were dating. Since we moved away it's been about 5 years since I've been back but recently we went back and our waiter actually remembered us. Very welcoming and good food.“

“The place was small and dark the tvs played really nice music videos I appreciated the ones that came with English subtitles. The food was impeccable... yummy, fresh and unique There were dishes I've never tried before and they did not disappoint. Salmon Sushi definitely needs more staff if this hidden gem gets discovered, it's so hard to keep a good place a secret on Staten Island. Our server was so nice but was also taking phone food orders and handing off deliveries so an item we ordered was forgotten. Wasn't upset tho because it was definitely worth the wait and made for amazing leftovers which reheated quite well. The pad Thai was amazing and I can't wait to try the whole menu #goals“
