I first ordered sushi and dumplings thought DoorDash and the taste was amazing, the dumplings were warm and crunchy and the sushi surprised me. Then I just went in person and I got a dinner box which I didn’t know it also had misu soup included!! A really good price for all of the food included. My dinner box had an entire meal. I didn’t know a salmon could have that much flavor!! Also everything was tasteful, fresh and delicious even tho I’m a picky eater.“

“I had the honor privilege and luck of being the very first customer to be served at Kanpachi Sushi during their grand opening on 4/29/2022. The very first think I noticed was how friendly and inviting the staff is, they make you feel welcome the second that you step into their establishment. The second thing I noticed was the how the new renovation which makes you want to come in and have a seat at a table or sit at the sushi bar to watch the sushi master construct your order before your eyes. I am impressed with the addition of this new business to Amboy Ave. The food is fresh, top-quality ingredients prepared by a world class chief and sushi master. I had lunch there yesterday and today. Oh, and did I mention that Kanpachi is a BYOB establishment? Sushi steak and Hibachi lovers, do yourself a favor and get over there. “This is a brand new, recently opened restaurant and wow did they deliver for first impressions. Food was absolutely incredible. The sushi was fresh and made quickly. I had the volcano roll and the Naruto rainbow row, it was beautiful and delicious. Very good quality cuts and tasted fresh Really impressed by their milk tea as well. “First time here and I got the chicken and beef teriyaki with the noodles and veggies. It was delicious. In general I don't care for sushi, but the teriyaki was great and I would definitely get that again. Even though I liked it that much I'll need to try some of the other dishes on the menu first to know if it deserves a higher rating. Other than that it's a clean place with a friendly staff, not too loud and plenty of seating space and parking.“

“Went here for the first time with my son and I am so glad we found this gem! When you step inside, you’re walking into a peaceful oasis filled with natural light, plants, and beautiful decor. You can dine in or take out. The sushi was so fresh and delicious! We also ordered fried dumplings and shrimp shumai. They have an awesome grocery section to the side where you can buy many Japanese snacks and ramen, as well as mochi. The service was fantastic and the owner is so kind. An absolute must go-to!!“

Regardless, Mr. Bin's is our "go-to" sushi place. We routinely travel from Union to Cranford because it's that good! The freshness is evident with every bite. “My family and I made a visit to Go Sushi in Scotch Plains and were blown away with how good the food was! The photos I attached don’t do justice to how amazing all the food was. We had something as simple as edamame and that was even super yummy. We had the viral sushi push up pop and chicken wrapped asparagus as appetizers. As for our entrees, we have the most delicious dinner bento box with a nice selection of sides. Everything was cooked perfectly and bursting with flavors. Our server was the sweetest lady and very helpful, answering any questions we had. And to end the night off strong we had Ice Cream Tempura, where they fried Green Tea ice cream. Don’t knock it till you’ve tried it, I loved it and I’m not even a big fan of green tea! All four of us left with full bellies and a smile on our faces. There was no negative take away from our experience, an all around 10/10!! Can’t recommend them enough, may they forever stay open :)“

I've come here abt 20*** times so far and I've never had a bad food experience. I've had sushi from a lot of other AYCE, all you can eat, sushi places and I think this one is the best in terms of quality and variety. It's about $30 per person.

The fish here tastes fresh and NOT watered down like other places I've been to. The miso soup is good here too, it doesn't taste artificial and sweet like other places.

The special rolls are a little questionable, there are a lot of special rolls that aren't my type and extremely filling but I like the sashimi and regular rolls. The salmon is good here, so I always get salmon sashimi and Alaska rolls.

They also have other foods available in their AYCE like shumai, sesame chicken, lo mein, and calamari, takoyaki, etc. Most of their non-sushi items are good too. I have some friends who don't like seafood but they still get the ayce.

ONE THING TO NOTE, if you come here with a party of 5 or more, you will be charged a 15% service fee.“
