Place is awesome staff is great
Dinner with friends at DOUGH by Licastri in Silver Lake, Staten Island, highly touted for their pizza. Unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed.
I ordered their version of a Sicilian sfincione, which is one of my top 3 pizzas to order. It’s a specialty pizza, not commonly found in most pizzerias.
My friends ordered regular dinner food, however, which looked fantastic - so if I go back, that’s what I’ll do.

DOUGH by Licastri Silver Lake is a great place to eat. The heroes and pastas are good, and the pizza is always fresh and flavorful. The vodka pie is a favorite, and the arugula salad with shrimp is beyond amazing. The restaurant has a cozy outdoor seating area, and the decor, cleanliness, ambiance, and atmosphere are everything. The staff is friendly, warm, and welcoming. The service is great, and the manager checks in to see if everything is going well. The restaurant serves excellent coffee and cosmos, and the espresso martini is the best. There is parking at the back of the restaurant and a valet. The prices may be a tad high, but the food and service are worth it. Overall, DOUGH by Licastri Silver Lake is a fantastic restaurant with delicious food and a great atmosphere.
