“Stumbled upon this welcoming pub after a long working day during UN Week in NYC. As my hotel was near Carteret was able to hop off the NYC bus and stroll right in. Trivia night was on and that was a welcome diversion - as was the prompt and friendly service and the cold beer! BTW, $5 Happy Hour is Monday-Saturday 5-8pm. I’m a wing snob so didn’t give them a high ranking but definitely in the zone of tasty and comfort food! Highly recommended!!!“

The food? Insanely good! Every single dish hits. The drink menu is just as impressive, with a huge selection of cocktails, mocktails, and even really solid coffee if you’re keeping it low-key.

But what really sets this place apart is the vibe. The decor is beautiful, super aesthetic, and makes it the perfect brunch spot. And once a month, their Sunday brunch turns into a whole experience with a live DJ spinning Latin, Afrobeats, and R&B. The music is SO good.

Elizabeth has needed a spot like this for a long time, and Corner Hause absolutely delivered. There’s honestly nothing else like it around here. 10/10 recommend.“

“Can I please give it 6 stars? I recently went there with a group of five family members while visiting New Jersey and we had a truly extraordinary night! As an investor in restaurants I'm very critical when visiting any restaurant and not often impressed even with well known critically acclaimed restaurants. It's very rare when a place has truly incredible food with every appetizer and entree as well as first class VIP vibes for service. You could literally taste the passion and care put into every plate with beautifully prepared flavorful abundant meals. In fact, it was the first time in almost a decade I brought home leftovers as the meal was delicious and easily sufficient for two people. Our entire table raved about their meals and the attentive but not obtrusive service was always there to refill our wine and assist without any of us having to look up for service. The food alone would have made for a great night but what truly made it memorable besides the great waitstaff was the manager, Eli. When was the last time a manager, GM or owner greated you at your table to share a polite, interesting and passionate conversation about the food and why they love sharing this experience with their valued customers? He made our entire table feel like VIPs and made perfect recommendations for wine and dessert. It felt more like we were in someone's home as we were there for close to 3-1/2 hours talking, eating, drinking and laughing. The ambiance is warm and unpretentious and the memories of a great experience will certainly bring us back again.“

“I live in South Jersey went to Jersey City with my wife and daughter. Saw posting about Carmine’s had to give it a try. The food was outstanding 3 sandwiches and the eggplant rollotnie. The flavor , sauce chicken cutlets , Prosciutto was the best. It’s a 2 hour drive but worth it!!!“

Tried the fruit salad as well, the fruit was fresh and presentation was so nice although it was a takeout order. “What an incredible place. I live health bowl but these are very different. They make every drink and bowl with fresh ingredients ONLY. fresh fruit the man base for everything. Also they make energy ball for on the go, they make fresh peanut butter for toppings. Love how they have 3 different categories for choices, destination, wellness and endurance. They also make freshly made treats for Pets. Can’t wait to try their coffees soon for my next trip.“

“I was here when they first opened. it was not really "for me". Recently tried it again and loved it. I am vegetarian and my friend is vegan. we found options. Really enjoyed the eggplant sandwich. Would love more options (saw on one of the burger challenges a portobello on a burger, so loose the beef and just do the portobello) then I would definitely be there more often. Plan to check out the events that they have in the winter. So nice to have a quality and nice place locally to go out to at night.“

“Loved this cute little place!!! My daughter and I were out and about, and wanted to get some coffee, but not from the regular “chain” coffee shop, so after a quick search, we headed to Metuchen. We were lucky enough to get parking right outside, and walked in to be pleasantly surprised by the esthetic vibe. Everything was super clean, and we were greeted right away by the super friendly employee. My daughter ordered a cappuccino and I got iced coffee. We were in the mood for something that felt like a dinner date without heading too far from home, and Adour totally hit the mark. Let me tell you, for the affordable prices, the quality of the food blew us away. The ambiance was exactly what we were looking for cozy, elevated, and with great vibes all around. We kept it classic with a rosé and a Hugo Spritz (both so refreshing), for starters we got the mussels in tomato sauce, and for dinner we ordered the lamb chops and the Adour burger with truffle fries - absolutely to die for. “We had the pleasure of dining for the first time at Due 360 in Summit. From the moment we walked in, Luis the manager and Brianna welcomed us and seated us promptly. Luis was very attentive and made sure we were happy with our order. Our server Sofia was extraordinary! she was warm and friendly with genuine smile. She offered excellent recommendations and we had conversation as if we're know each other for years. We started with a complimentary bruschetta, it was tasty and nicely flavored. I ordered the Tapas- Polpo Ala Plancha, Steak Yuca Frities and Crabmeat/shrimp tacos. Everything was fresh and bursting with flavor. The portion was perfect and the presentation was impeccable. Due 360 was quite a gem of an Argentine-Italian restaurant (interesting combo but it worked!). This place is going to be my "go to" dining spot. I highly recommend it and the experience is worth it.“

“Just tried this place and WOW ! The food was absolutely delicious. The chicken had the perfect amount of kick and flavor, and the pork was seasoned to perfection. And let me tell you… the Curried Beef Lumpia and the fresh fruit juices was to die for.

On top of that, the service was amazing. The owner is so warm and kind, which really made the whole experience even better.

The only downside is that it was pretty cold inside there’s a noticeable draft. If they can fix that and make it warmer, it would be the perfect place to sit and really enjoy your meal comfortably.

“Cozy health cafe offering high protein waffles, crepes, teas/coffees, shakes, and more. I had the delicious dolce waffle which in addition to the high protein comes with fruit. The iced chai is lovely. My companion had the savory salty waffle and a berry protein shake, both of which he greatly enjoyed. We are happy to have found this gem.

“Service and every dishes other than sushi was great! However, I really have to give the sushi rice they used and sushi selection limitation a comment because the rice used is not for sushi. Fish is really fresh, but rice is hard to chew or swallow. And selection for sushi is quite limited. The old menu they have has scallop and squid, none of that is actually selling any more. There’s basic fish sushi and all types of rolls tho which is nice, but rice really makes me hard to enjoy them. Despite all that, ither food choice is various from cold dish to hot fried rice to fruits and dessert. In general it is worth to try“

“I had an amazing experience dining here tonight. My boyfriend & I wanted to explore Vietnamese cuisine. I’m vegan & loved that they had multiple options for me. We ordered steamed vegetable dumplings to start. Fresh ingredients and the perfect starter to a great meal. The Thai milk tea was outstanding. Not too sweet yet creamy and addictive. The staff directed me towards the lemongrass pho with vegetables and tofu. It was out of this world! The lemongrass flavor was rich and comforting. My boyfriend ordered the Bánh mì. It was sweet and savory - the perfect balance. The baguette was fresh and the meat was very seasoned and well cooked. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Andy. You can tell he’s passionate about his restaurant and customers. I said I added too much chili oil to my broth (rookie mistake - it’s very spicy!) and he was kind enough to add more broth to my leftovers to lessen the heat. He was accommodating, friendly and kind. We can’t wait to explore the whole menu. Highly recommended!“
