Every plate looked beautiful and tasted even better than expected. The atmosphere was calm, inviting, and perfect for a relaxing evening. “Not bad but not excellent either, it’s your average cheap Chinese place - for $8.75, you can get yourself a lunch special that includes a plate + soda/egg roll.
Wouldn’t recommend the pork fried rice that came with the lunch special - go for the white.
Service was fast and friendly! Cash only“

“Best Chinese Take Out in Bayonne!!! Hands down!!!
Food always prepared right in front of you (inside a kitchen with a cleanliness that you have never seen from a take out place!!! So clean!!!)
For the price, you would swear they messed up your order…. This is the BEST value in Bayonne and it’s not even close!!! Sooo much food, huge egg rolls, your kids will love the pizza rolls!!!
Family run, a little girl will take your order… this place makes you want to give them your money! This family is absolutely killing it and I hope Bayonne takes notice!!!“

“Panda Express – 207 Bayonne Crossing Way, Bayonne, NJ
Sometimes you just need a plate of something warm, saucy, and satisfying — and Panda Express at Bayonne Crossing delivers exactly that. This location is one of the cleaner, more well-maintained spots in the chain, with a bright dining area, organized serving line, and staff that keeps things moving even during peak hours.
The real draw here is the variety. We went heavy on proteins — the Orange Chicken is the classic crowd-pleaser, crispy with that sweet-tangy glaze that never gets old. The Beijing Beef hits differently — tender strips with a slightly spicy, caramelized sauce that pairs perfectly with fried rice. And if you’re a seafood person, the Honey Walnut Shrimp is a must-try: lightly battered shrimp in a creamy sauce with candied walnuts, rich but not overwhelming.
For a fast-casual spot, the portion sizes are generous, and the build-your-own plate format lets you mix and match without compromise. The sides — chow mein, fried rice, super greens — hold their own and don’t feel like afterthoughts.
The Bayonne Crossing location specifically benefits from good foot traffic management. The line moves fast, the food is fresh and rotated regularly, and the space is clean — which honestly sets this apart from some other Panda locations in the area.
Is it authentic Chinese food? No, and it doesn’t claim to be. But as a dependable, affordable comfort food stop with real protein options and a consistent experience, this Panda Express earns its spot. Great for families, quick lunch runs, or when you’re craving that orange chicken fix.
Best bets: Orange Chicken, Honey Walnut Shrimp
Skip: The mushroom chicken — a bit bland compared to the rest
Verdict: A solid, no-fuss comfort meal. Clean spot, good variety, hits the spot every time. 🥡“
