“I was there at Jian Nan Syosset, Long Island. Everything went great!! But, those took the orders needed to be more educated to understand each dishes. We were a fairly larger group than standard party size. Some dished were small and some dim sum served with small quantities, like 3 or 4. Those who order for the large group, should give suggestion to order multiple orders for the same dish. So, each one in the group can have at least one.“

“Absolutely loved this meal! The green pepper fish was fresh and tender, with a rich, tangy broth and a wonderful peppery aroma. The fish slices were delicate and soaked up all the flavors beautifully. The spicy beef was another highlight, packed with bold chili flavor and topped generously with scallions. The beef was tender, juicy, and incredibly satisfying with rice. Both dishes had completely different flavor profiles, so they complemented each other perfectly. Portions were very generous and everything arrived fresh and beautifully presented. A fantastic choice for anyone who enjoys flavorful Sichuan-style dishes. I would definitely order again!“

“The fish is always fresh, and it’s great that you can customize the options to add extra ingredients that you want. The service is also good. They also give you free homemade soda when you order above a certain amount. This is our go-to spot when we crave this type of fish dish.“

“Great spot for authentic Sichuan cuisine inside American Dream! We tried the Pickled Pepper Frog Legs, Pickled Mustard Fish Soup, Garlic Grilled Fish, and Braised Tofu—everything was flavorful and freshly made. The frog legs were tender, the grilled fish was crispy outside and juicy inside, and even our kids loved the tofu. If you’re looking for spicy Chinese food while visiting the mall, this is definitely worth a stop. Friendly service and we’ll be back!“

“We come to this restaurant very often, and the food is always delicious! 🌟 If you can’t eat spicy food, definitely make sure to let them know when ordering.
Everyone here is so nice, but I especially want to give a huge shoutout to a girl with long hair and glasses. I don’t know her name, but she has a red Labubu on her outfit and she is seriously so thoughtful. ❤ She remembers that my kid loves the pink juice and even picked one out for her. Unfortunately, her coworker ended up giving it to someone else, so my daughter got the apple juice instead. 😂
But honestly, it’s the little gestures that make such a difference. The fact that she remembered us personally and remembered what my kid likes made our visit extra sweet. 🥹
Huge shoutout to her—you know who you are! Thank you for making our visits feel so special. 💕“

“This place is located above northern blvd. It is a hidden gem. The food is authentic Szechuan. The place is small, but the flavor from the food is big! They give you a pitcher of water when you sit down along with some mildly spicy roasted peanuts. I had to consciously stop myself from eating it. We asked the waitress for some recommendation and we were there to try a lot of stuff. She stopped us from ordering after three dishes and explained to us the dishes are big and that we won’t be able to finish. We insisted on ordering, more on that later. The waitress also ask if we can handle spice we told her to ask the chef to take it easy on us. The first thing that came was the kidney dish. So tender and flavorful and mildly spicy. Tip for eating, you should eat the kidney with the veggies as it covers up the gamy taste if you eat it alone sometimes. Learned that from wife. Second dish was the cold noodles. It had a vinegar taste which I’m usually not a fan of. But again my mistake for not mixing it. After a mix it was a lot better. The next dish that came was the free range chicken. Honestly I didn’t think too much of a chicken dish when it was recommended to us. I instantly conjured up images of some dry chicken breast dish. This was far from that. It was chicken that had been lightly fried and skin on. So tasty. My favorite dish because it was such a surprise. So good! The fourth dish that came was the duck blood. It didn’t disappoint as duck blood is so silky unlike pork blood which is more sandy. The duck blood is a good dish to clear your pallet as the chicken and kidney dish is so intense in flavor. At this point the chef came out and we struck up a conversation with him. He told us we should eat the kidney dish before it get cold as it is best hot. He also said he didn’t put some spicy oil on it because we are not from the region and it would have been too spicy for most. But the flavor would be even better with it. Need to try it next time. The conversation was light and informative and he then asked if we still wanted the 5th dish. At this point we were getting full and asked if we could cancel it. He said not a problem. It was the reason he came and talked to us and didn’t want us to over order. So nice. I even had an incident where the chicken I grabbed with my chopstick slipped out and tried to get away even after cooked. Lastly when we asked for the check the waitress brought out a dessert on the house. It was a great pallet cleanser. Highly recommend this place. A hidden gem since we don’t normally go above the northern boulevard. Will definitely revisit.“

“SKIP ALL OTHER RESTAURANTS IN FLUSHING/MAIN STREET. This restaurant is the best. Straight authentic style hunan food. You will not find cookie cutter American style chinese here (although they do have those dishes). I have been coming here for 10+ years. Favorites are hunan chicken and the sliced fish with ginger/scallions.“

“$12 cai pan fan - 2 veggies and 1 meat dish
I come here when I crave rice and something spicy. They offer cold dishes as side dishes or you can have them as part of of your lunch meal. Got the tofu shreds and celery, bamboo shots in chili oil, and the beef tendon & tripe. They were all delicious. I know other places have cheaper prepared rice dishes like this around flushing but if im in NY food court, this is a nice meal as well which includes hot soup.
Ive recommend their hot oil chili hicken, chicken feet, and the fried fish too. I see lots of locals get their hot rice dishes. Might be worth a try too!“

“Absolutely delicious. Perfectly salted and spicy level was also just nice. We had medium spicy 🌶️! Service was also great, very very friendly and efficient. Speaking in mandarin seemed preferred but they can still understand English ☺️“
