Paying staff a living wage and ingredient inflation is killing small businesses. At least it was very delicious. The employees are very consistent as well. Everything is incredibly fresh and delicious. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients, especially the fish and seafood. They have a great selection of fish, bagels, and all the classic combinations, and everything we tried was excellent.

What I also really appreciate is how clean and well-maintained everything feels. Even with so much seafood being prepared and served, you never get any feeling of messiness or poor hygiene. The whole place feels very professional and high-quality, and the level of service matches that.

Absolutely delicious, fresh, and worth coming back to. Every time I visit New York, I’m already looking forward to the day I can come back to Russ & Daughters again.“

The bagels were fresh, delicious, and lived up to the hype. But what impressed me even more was the staff. They were always smiling, friendly, and more than happy to help, especially for first-time customers who weren't familiar with the menu. They patiently explained the different options without making us feel rushed.

To be honest, this kind of genuine customer service is becoming harder to find, especially in a busy metropolitan city like New York. It really made the whole experience even better.

Well, look no more for me. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. Great rustic look, comfy seating with back support, loads of outlets for laptops, and the second-floor space are super cute and cozy too. Oh and there's a small little outside area that's pretty cool as well. Shaquille (hope I spelled it right) was AMAZING! So down-to-earth, friendly, polite, and easy to talk to. She made me the Tumeric latte for me and I all but licked the cup clean. I had the hummus & cucumber on sourdough toast and it was divine. Also, a great option for vegans.
