I was visiting NYC and had heard of a claypot place in East Village and figured I had to try it out. I got the signature claypot and found it to be really tasty. The service was quick and the owner and chef were really kind and welcoming. Their popcorn chicken is also incredible and definitely worth trying. Overall the ambience of the place is cozy and I think it's a must try for anyone who is looking for a new restaurant to try! I'll definitely be back the next time I visit NYC.
My fiancé heard of this spot, and we decided to try it out for the clay pot. In addition to trying the signature claypot, we also got the Taiwanese crispy salted chicken and the Liu Zhou Luosi rice noodle. All in all, the food was really good and filling. I especially enjoyed the crispy chicken - very crunchy and flavorful. The restaurant itself is fairly small, with only a few staff members around when we stopped by. Amazing food, awesome atmosphere, a must try if you are in the East Village area. The people who work there are really kind and take great care of you while you're there. I would definitely recommend the Taiwanese popcorn chicken and Signature claypot!
