“This cute bake shop is small, but dense, providing various flavors and products that are hard to find vegan. The cake truffles (Red Velvet and Fudge Brownie) were amazing—fudgy and flavorful on the inside with just enough icing. The cupcakes (tiramisu and Old Skool) were moist with rich filling at the center and a sufficient amount of frosting. Sweet Avenue deserves their due. I hope I can return one day to try more! “This was a fantastic experience! From the moment we stepped inside, the staff was courteous, engaging, helpful and knowledgeable. We had a party of 3, and ordered 6 dishes. Each dish came out as it was made and each dish was absolutely delicious. A person in our party had a gluten allergy which was no problem and accommodated with ease. We come to NY every year and this will absolutely be a place we revisit again and again! Vegans, vegetarians and omnivores alike will appreciate the dishes and be amazed with the taste! Highly recommended!“

“This was my second time at Blue Hill, although my last visit was several years ago before they moved to the Family Meal concept. And I really like it. Each course comes with an assortment of dishes that you can mix and match at your own pace, which makes the whole meal feel relaxed and fun.
I sat at the bar, and both the atmosphere and service were excellent as always. Every course was fantastic, and this is such a great time of year to visit when there are so many amazing vegetables in season. One course highlighted several different peppers, including a specially developed habanero that had all of the sweetness and none of the heat. Really cool! The dessert was really interesting as well as it incorporated Sungold tomatoes. I don’t think I’ve ever had tomatoes in a dessert before, but it was inspired and worked beautifully. A fantastic dinner. I’ll definitely be returning.“

“Absolutely amazing gluten free food. Shared mozz sticks, truffle pizza, and homemade garganelli with vodka sauce and literally audibly mmmm-ed my way through lunch. Service was warm and friendly. Was so nice to look at a menu and be able to eat every single thing on it. Highly recommend eating here.“

“A few years ago, I was hired to write a series of articles about regional Italian cuisine. Since then, I have been looking for traditional Italian gelato. Until yesterday, I have been consistently disappointed. But this? It was absolutely EVERYTHING I had dreamed about. The prices weren't ridiculous, the bathroom was PRISTINE, the staff were helpful and friendly and it was incredibly, amazingly delicious. My only complaint is that I live too far away from your stores to get it very often. But about that? My hips are less upset about the distance. :) I will definitely be back, though!“

“Russ & Daughters is always one of the places I look forward to visiting whenever I’m in New York.
Everything is incredibly fresh and delicious. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients, especially the fish and seafood. They have a great selection of fish, bagels, and all the classic combinations, and everything we tried was excellent.
What I also really appreciate is how clean and well-maintained everything feels. Even with so much seafood being prepared and served, you never get any feeling of messiness or poor hygiene. The whole place feels very professional and high-quality, and the level of service matches that.
Absolutely delicious, fresh, and worth coming back to. Every time I visit New York, I’m already looking forward to the day I can come back to Russ & Daughters again.“

“From our first steps to our departure, everything was AMAZING. This saturday evening was out last in NYC before returning to Montreal and The Smith Midtown made it PERFECT. The food was more than we could even expect. The seafood tower is quite an experience, treat yourself! Thank you to everyone at the front desk, including the managers, because they made us laughed a lot and were so nice to us. Big thanks to our server too. A must in NYC!“

“Found this place during our stay for the US Open. One member of our party was vegan and this place had many vegan friendly options. The vegan eggs Benedict options were impressive and you could not tell it was vegan. I ordered the chicken and egg Benedict which was nice. Love the ambiance and decor of the place. For calm, quiet, and relaxing. The mocha lattes were excellent and love the tumbler idea to serve them in. Highly recommend!“

“I spent the last few days going a concert at the Bowery Ballroom and went to Nolita pizza every night and it is the best pizza I’ve ever had. The Sicilian double pepperoni with hot honey was insanely delicious. I’m waiting for them to add my new appetizer I suggested pepperoni basket . Because they are so delicious. Everyone working there especially the owner is super grateful and kind. “What a delightful little breakfast/brunch place!!! We went here straight from the airport on our way into town, luggage and all, and it was perfect! We sat in the little outside area with the fans because the A/C was broken inside. My mom ordered the Grey Dog’s Breakfast with her eggs scrambled, French toast, and bacon, and it’s served with home fries. I ordered the egg and cheese croissant minus the parsley (not my fave) and added bacon. I’m picky about my home fries, so the server offered me french fries instead. We had exactly zero complaints about our meal. The portions are big, the eggs and bacon were cooked perfectly, and the French toast had this sweet butter with it that I can’t even compare to anything because it was so unique and delicious. The home fries ended up being DELICIOUS. The French fries were also good. I enjoyed the seasoning on them as well. I’m not a big fan of the thing shoe string fries, but these were good! The three employees we encountered were all very friendly and I would be more than happy to eat here again any time.“

“Erie is amazing. Highly recommend - coffee is absolutely the best - lattes and all different flavors - hot and cold! The banana bread is my favorite but All of the different baked goods are to die for! Never had anything but excellent here. The owners and the baristas and ALL of the staff are friendly and truly provide the BEST service! If I lived in Rutherford I’d be here every day!“
