“I found this gem of a spot when visiting family in NJ. This has to be the best I’ve had since becoming celiac 6 years ago. The bakery items are to die for and the bagel breakfast sandwiches are the best ever. I got to stop in this past weekend and got a few goodies to bring home. I came across this restaurant, which on the outside appears to be a non-descript little building in a mediocre neighborhood. I was hungry, so I decided to give it a try, and I'm glad I did. It's not a large restaurant, but the inside is much nicer than the outside would suggest. Food and service were excellent, prices reasonable. I had a chicken dish, small salad, dessert, no alcohol, it came to $37. Recommended.“

“I'll be honest - I had pretty low expectations given my picky NYC taste buds but this place DELIVERS. The food is rich in flavor, plated like Gordon Ramsay is waiting with a camera crew, and very family friendly. I have a 4 year old and 2.5 year old, and it was so easy with them. There's a huge lawn for them to expend energy and it's in a very quiet little enclosure so it's very safe. The staff are very nice - like they could easily be kindergarten teachers. Definitely adding this spot into my weekly ventures. I almost didn't even wanna leave the review so it remains a hidden gem but they deserve all the business and then some. Thank you!“

“This is an awesome cafe with great coffee! The owner was super friendly. He clearly has regulars and takes an interest in getting to know customers, which is refreshing. The cafe feels spacious and even has a great patio area once it gets warm. They have good chairs and is a place you can get work done.“

“This cute bake shop is small, but dense, providing various flavors and products that are hard to find vegan. The cake truffles (Red Velvet and Fudge Brownie) were amazing—fudgy and flavorful on the inside with just enough icing. The cupcakes (tiramisu and Old Skool) were moist with rich filling at the center and a sufficient amount of frosting. Sweet Avenue deserves their due. I hope I can return one day to try more!
