“I found this gem of a spot when visiting family in NJ. This has to be the best I’ve had since becoming celiac 6 years ago. The bakery items are to die for and the bagel breakfast sandwiches are the best ever. I got to stop in this past weekend and got a few goodies to bring home. “Stefan the new chef has a wonderful restaurant here with fantastic delicacies to choose from. Standouts are his Tuna sushi on rice cakes with caviar. Amazing. Also the steak frites with truffle fries and the tuna carpaccio...just wow. Stefan also had a delicious tapas served as appetizers a few weeks ago with anchovies and other types of seafood served on toasted baguettes. He is friendly and engaging and a great addition to the Ho-Ho-Kus dining scene. Bought St Eves from the previous owners about 2 years ago. Go and Enjoy!“

“I have been coming here for years and without fail the quality has never changed. I have brought these pies to parties, work gatherings, and family gatherings and everyone loves them. The spinach pies are tangy and delicious. My kids love the chicken pies. They also sell olive oil, soft drinks, different types of bread and cookies. Once you start going to Ameer’s you can’t stop. Everything is so fresh and authentic.“
