“My hubby and I popped in yesterday, and I am so glad we did. We bought a half-dozen cupcakes, and had fun picking out the flavors. (The options will make your mouth water!). He chose a few cookie dough cupcakes, while I got brownie, chocolate-covered strawberry, and vanilla with chocolate frosting cupcakes. I've only tasted the chocolate-covered strawberry one so far, and it was delicious. He didn't regret picking up multiple cookie dough cupcakes. We're looking forward to finishing our selections. Check this place out and get yourself a treat!“

“My son and I had a nearby doctor appointment and put "breakfast near me" in the Google search... this delightful café came up... we took a chance and found it not only to be quality and sophisticated food, but a delightful ambience, friendly staff, visually pleasing food, baked goods and decor! even the bathroom was sweet! this is a new staple in my repertoire of breakfast/brunch and coffee spots. I expect to be a regular!“

“Last week I bought grass-fed bone broth at your location at 25 E 51st St. I absolutely love your bone broths — thanks to your products, it’s possible to eat in a way that’s both delicious and truly nourishing, and I really appreciate that you make this kind of quality and care accessible.
The broth was spicier than usual. I would really appreciate it if the recipe stayed consistent and any added spices were optional. I absolutely love your product and am so happy you exist!“

• I was very excited to try Levain, and it did not disappoint.
• Crunchy on the outside with ooey-gooey, chocolatey goodness inside—super buttery too!
• Ordered the classic chocolate chip walnut and will definitely be back to try the peanut butter dark chocolate and oatmeal. Also curious about the toffee and coconut flavors.
• Staff are kind and helpful when you ask for recommendations. There can be lines, but they move fast.
• A few stools and tables are available by the windows for dine-in.
• A definite must-try when in NYC!“

“I work for a law firm in CA and we have an employee who works remotely in NY.. For our employee's birthday I wanted to choose a bakery close to her home and who was local. Stumbled upon Buttercup Bake Shop and they were so awesome! Totally worked with me and delivered the cupcakes with NO hassle. Needless to say our NY employee was super happy and LOVED the flavors and decorations of the cupcakes. ❤️“

“Had dinner here this weekend for a nice night out. Food was beyond amazing! The staff was very knowledgeable about their dishes and specials. We ended up with Tuna Tartar, Stuffed Figs wrapped in bacon with salad, and Asparagus with roasted red pepper puree topped with prosciutto for an appetizer. I had a veal chop that was out of this world, my fiancée had seared duck breast, and we finished it off with a slice of delicious carrot cake and decaf cappuccinos. Everything was absolutely incredible, couldn't recommend it more for a nice night out!“

“Maria makes the best carrot cake, red velvet, trees leches, plain and almond croissants I’ve ever tasted. Her passion for pastry is simply unbeatable. This isn’t because I provide her with same day delivery service, but I’m speaking as her customer as well. Her pastries are crafted with arts and the taste speaks for itself. I’m very familiar with French pastries for far too many years, so mark my words, if you’re looking for authentic French pastries, Les Gateaux De Marie is the place to go.“

“Eccentric local cafe with tasty baked goods!
It was not too small but not big enough to have 20 people inside to sit together.
The cafe was really quiet. Vintage vibe. You can see the owner really thought about the decorations and theme for the cafe. There is no laptop policy though so it is good to read books or talk with your friends.
I got the matcha drink which was pretty good. It had a strong matcha flavor without any weird aftertaste. Walnut brownie was really good so is the cookie.
I highly recommend this place. I would like to try other baked goods and chai next time.“

“I had a really delicious breakfast here. I ordered the Sunshine Burrito and a smoothie with peanut butter and protein powder – both were absolutely amazing. I also had a flat white, which was great. Water was provided for free, which I really appreciated. Very friendly service and a cool, relaxed atmosphere. Definitely coming back!“

“Casa Louie absolutely delivers. The pizza was incredible with a perfectly charred crust, fresh mozzarella, and a rich, balanced sauce. Every bite was spot on.
The salad with radicchio, fennel, and shaved parmesan was fresh, crisp, and full of flavor, and the focaccia sandwich with prosciutto and arugula was next level. Simple ingredients done exceptionally well.
The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the service was friendly and attentive.
This place is a gem. Easily one of my new favorite Italian spots. I will definitely be back.“
