I have been at two locations and I have ordered 4 times overall, it is just OK, I am not impressed by the taste of the coffee, there are much better coffees around on UES in terms of the taste. Also, I do not trust their good rating anymore after I felt being kinda pushed to give the best reviews and immediately - I do not like that and I believe many people did it on the spot. I did not particularly liked the food/snacks, it was ok.“

“We stopped into Les Gateaux de Marie while in NYC and absolutely loved it. Such a cozy little bakery with the sweetest atmosphere. You can immediately tell the owner truly loves what she does and puts so much passion into every detail.

Everything we tried was amazing. The latte, coffee, cupcake, and crispy heart were all so good. We sat down for a few minutes to relax and honestly just enjoyed being in the space. The bakery is beautifully designed and feels so warm and welcoming.

One of my favorite parts was seeing the photos of the cakes she has created over the years. You could really feel her creativity and passion through everything in the shop. Everyone there was incredibly kind and helpful, and it ended up being one of those little places that makes a trip feel special. So glad we found it. Everything was affordable! We will be back!“

“Im not even the biggest fan of cookies, but Levain is just so good.

Their cookies are huge and on the chunkier side. It’s slightly soft in the center but crunchy on the outside, and has sufficient mix in ingredients (chocolate chips, walnuts, etc.)

Fav is def the chocolate chips and walnut. I did find the two chip chocolate chip and double chocolate chip cookie to be too chocolatey and sweet for my preference.

It’s a little hit or miss, but when it gets too busy they just grab it from the tray so the cookie is either warm or room temp, versus at a diff location ive gone to they heated it up and/or grabbed it from a fresh tray.

Workers are friendly and there’s some seats and areas to stand and enjoy your cookie! :)“

Stumbled upon Buttercup Bake Shop and they were so awesome! Totally worked with me and delivered the cupcakes with NO hassle. We ended up with Tuna Tartar, Stuffed Figs wrapped in bacon with salad, and Asparagus with roasted red pepper puree topped with prosciutto for an appetizer. I had a veal chop that was out of this world, my fiancée had seared duck breast, and we finished it off with a slice of delicious carrot cake and decaf cappuccinos. Everything was absolutely incredible, couldn't recommend it more for a nice night out!“

“Enjoyed a fantastic Sunday dinner before a Broadway show. The service was top-notch; attentive, warm, and genuinely engaging throughout the evening.

We started by sharing the whipped ricotta, generously portioned and finished with a lovely honey drizzle, simple and delicious. For mains, we each ordered pasta, but the standout was the Dry-Aged Porterhouse Agnolotti, which quickly became the table favourite thanks to both its presentation and flavour.

We wrapped things up with the Godfather dessert, and it absolutely lived up to the hype; every bit as impressive as its table-side presentation.

The salad with radicchio, fennel, and shaved parmesan was fresh, crisp, and full of flavor, and the focaccia sandwich with prosciutto and arugula was next level. Simple ingredients done exceptionally well.

The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the service was friendly and attentive.
