“Close to where I was. I liked the menu posted on line, so I decided to try them. Not disappointed at all. Clean place with several tables in use by customers including outside. There were about 10 people working. The stream of customers coming in for orders and making orders was constant. That told me something about their food as I waited for my lamb gyro. All employees who took orders were professional and neither friendly or unfriendly; business like. That's okay, since they were all busy. The menu doesn't mention the croissants, and scones along with other things they offer so a trip here is worth the drive if you're nearby. My freshly made gyro was nice and warm and placed in a compostable container. There was plenty of lamb along with everything else. It was a very nicely flavored. The meat was tender and the pita was soft. Although I've had better, this was still good and the price was fair. I would purchase from Jackie's grill again, and recommend this place.“

“We have recently eaten at Sear House a few times over the past three weeks. We have had the mussels in red sauce, Calamari, angry halibut, scallops w/ risotto and a T-bone steak. All of the dishes were well prepared, very tasty and the service was great. The manager is very friendly with a good sense of humor. Definitely worth going to. As a bonus their happy hour drinks and menu is excellent.“

“i went & i lovedddd the guy working there!!! he was so funny & it just immediately felt like i was a regular, despite having been there for the first time. the sauce options were CRAZYYYY and yummy as hell. the only thing i would change is that the wings were slightly burnt on the outside, but it wasn’t unbearable to deal with. the sauce is what made the wings soooo good“

Throughout the years I have had many events and parties here including my businesses annual Christmas party. A lot of places you do not get to meet the owner of the family business. Also the steak frites with truffle fries and the tuna carpaccio...just wow. Stefan also had a delicious tapas served as appetizers a few weeks ago with anchovies and other types of seafood served on toasted baguettes. Went in on Sunday with some friends and decided to give the bar seating another shot. So glad I did because we got Amber and she was a DOLL!! “Listen!!!!!!! I’m one of the biggest critics when it comes to food, and I’m usually the first person to jump online and give a bad review when something isn’t right. HOWEVER… D&J Country Cooking is absolutely AMAZING. 💯 I was a little disappointed that they don’t offer dine-in, because I would’ve loved to enjoy my food hot at a table. Instead, I ended up eating it in my car. But let me tell you — it was still worth it. I ordered the fish, yams, and mac & cheese… and it was incredible. Everything was seasoned perfectly and tasted like real home cooking. When I walked in, I was welcomed by a very kind elderly woman who greeted me with eye contact, a warm attitude, and great recommendations. She was sweet, helpful, and really made me feel comfortable about trying the food. It was a true example of Southern hospitality. I’m giving this spot 9 stars. It would’ve been a full 10 if they had dine-in seating, because the food is so good it deserves to be enjoyed fresh at a table. Hopefully they consider adding a sit-down option in the future because it would really take the experience to another level. I’ll definitely be back. I’ve got to try the neckbones on Wednesday or Thursday next time. Great spot!!!!!“
