One of my favorite spots in Montclair. It never fails to amaze me from start to finish.
Had dinner with a friend yesterday at DeNovo. The food was fabulous! Even more wonderful was our server Tatiana, who made wonderful recommendations and made the dining experience a great one.
Today we visited for cocktails only! Some of the best drinks in town! Great place for lunch or dinner as well. Great atmosphere, great service! Thank you De Novo!

The restaurant features a cool and trendy atmosphere, with a surprising amount of pasta dishes on the menu. While the parking situation can be tricky, with limited reserved spaces and the rest being a permitted commuter lot, there is ample street parking available, although the street can be quite tight.
The food, drinks, and staff are all praised as superb, but the interior and outdoor dining areas lack design and functionality. However, the restaurant is known for serving one of the best dirty vodka martinis in the region.
De Novo European Pub is a popular destination for families, couples, and friends, both from the local area and out-of-town visitors.
