Love the Gate! It was the best add to Maplewood since we moved here. John is awesome and always talking to customers. The gate is the heart of Maplewood.

With a fireplace that never goes out and dim lighting, it's a nice refuge from the street, a cute spot to enjoy drinks like the Iced Peaky Blender or Paloma. The potato skins and pork chops were tasty, making up for any service hiccups during game nights. The service was phenomenal, and pints were poured well. Convenient front parking adds to the appeal. A great place to gather, dine, and catch a game, it's worth a return visit for the Muddled Molly and more.
