“This is such a cute bakery! They have a perfect array of cookies, cupcakes, scones, and other goodies! I've tried the scones, royal frosted cookies, and now the lemon loaf (GF) and have loved them all. It does tend to be busy but the staff is friendly and moves you on through. There is limited outdoor seating nearby so plan to bring your goodies outside or to the car. Prices are not listed for pastries and it isn't cheap - but I say worth it!“
“THIS PLACE IS PHENOMENAL!!!!The other day I went to, Village Street Eatery, for breakfast. It was absolutely amazing! I got their Corn Beef Hash Breakfast Wrap & on a separate occasion I got their Taylor Ham, Egg, & Cheese with extra meat and three eggs. Both items were a real treat! Their Taylor Ham, Egg, & Cheese was really really tasty, and the Taylor Ham had a wonderful crisp to it accompanied by a lovely crunch around around the edges. The best of the two was the Corn Beef Hash Breakfast Wrap! The Corn Beef was extremely flavorful and the potatoes they added to the wrap were seasoned and tender. The Corn Beef Hash Breakfast wrap is an exemplary to-go breakfast item. I thoroughly enjoyed both! The staff is really kind, and the customer service was amazing. The ambiance is impeccable as well too, makes you want to sit down and enjoy your breakfast. I would HIGHLY recommend, Village Street Eatery, to anyone in the Maplewood area. Their Corn Beef Hash Breakfast Wrap is a must try!“

“Got the UBE PANNA COTTA. Was surprised that it was so good. A lot of Ube flavor. So sweet and tasty. Wife says, “Very good!” Also my son had the CHOCOLATE BUNDT CAKE, son gave it 10⭐️s! “That was SO good!” Wife says it was the best as well. Daughter had the CHOCOLATE MOUSSE and she loved it. The CHICKEN SPINACH HAND PIE was excellent, as per my wife. “Can we go back for more?”, says my daughter.“
“I try to visit this place anytime I am in New Jersey. NYC quality bakery in NJ. That’s pretty hard to find in my experience. The price is right for how high quality everything is. Staff is always friendly, the place is always clean, and in the new location at Artie’s it was fun to see the place go from breakfast to lunch service and not feel rushed out. I’ll be back, I always am.“
