“For a few years, this has been my go to spot when I'm in the Ironbound. Cool vibe and ambiance. Hit or miss on portion sizes. A very notable change over the years. The bacon side is way too small (two skinny slices). The avocado toast has significantly decreased in size but at the same price point, and it's often more cream cheese than avocado most times. Yet, and somewhat reminds me of being back in Brooklyn. Good coffee.“

“Not being from the area (South Jersey), I've wanted to try LeGrand Coffee House for quite a while now. So on a trip up to NY a couple days ago, we finally got the chance to stop in on our way up the Parkway. This place is amazing! This beautifully-decorated coffee house had some of THE best coffee I've ever had in my entire life. I got TWO lattes while I was there (a French Vanilla and a Honey Almond). My family and I also got the chicken pesto sandwich, and it was absolutely delicious. My daughter had an iced chai tea latte and loved it. DEFINITELY get to this place if at all possible! Two thumbs up!!“

If you go elsewhere you find this to be less an issue. This place seems super new, and I've started stopping by after my classes at NJIT since it's nearby and opens early enough. The baristas/workers have great customer service and are very kind and welcoming! The space is quite small as there's only 4-5 tables, but considering the location, it's good for grab-n-go customers.
The food I've had so far are the blueberry danish, almond croissants, and the classic sandwich. Everything tastes fresh and it's great that the pastries are toasted/hot when they serve it. The drink selection is amazing, and the drinks I've had so far are the best in the area! The drinks seem pretty consistent-tasting too!
This place is my new favorite breakfast spot near campus and I'll be showing all of my friends this place ?“

I was just sitting in my office sipping on a latte that I ordered earlier today and had a moment of joy because it's so good, despite being a few hours old. Their espresso drinks are excellent, their cold brew is excellent, their drip coffee is excellent. And they get fantastic baked goods from a local bakery.“

I left there with 3 orders??‍♀️. The drinks were so good. Directions from Google were confusing. If you know the area, Highland Bubble Tea is on the opposite end of the bridge where Jersey Boys Pizza is located.
It can be tricky if you don't know the area. It's almost across from the new Performing Arts Center in Avenel! So, if you're looking at the PAC from Avenel St., in Avenel, Highland Bubble Tea is on your left side, across the street b4 going down the bridge. Lots of drinks and tasty snacks to enjoy. I didn't give it 5 stars because of the parking and the difficulty in finding it. Enjoy!!!“

The owner made my drink a month or so ago & gave me the wrong bubbles I asked for regular and she ended up giving me brown sugar and said can I come back the next day she will give me a free one lol long story short she wasn’t there the next day because I bring my daughter to this location and she was too lazy to fix my drink the day she messed it up. I get she was overwhelmed by working alone and having a lot of people ordering but she has to do better as an OWNER! I have a business myself and it’s a lot of things I do not do because you have to be professional.“
