“This review is almost two years overdue. We chose this place for our “last” meal in Jersey before moving to the west coast and it did not disappoint. The food is better than some popular Italian restaurants in the city.”
“My brothers nephew and my first time here. I was beyond impressed. I was NOT disappointed. Walking in the smell was ???. The service was absolutely fantastic. All the workers were very nice and friendly. The food was omg. Look at the amount they serve. I ordered for one and they served for 2 ?. Looking for a new place to try I highly recommend cha cha cha. I will definitely be going back. All ready started telling people ?”
“This place was very reasonably priced, an unexpected surprise for the atmosphere. The salad seemed a little small, but everything else was incredible. Fresh hot bread, and probably the best Chicken Francese I've ever had... I highly recommend this place for an amazing meal, with friendly and attentive service in a white tablecloth elegant atmosphere!”
“Best place ever. Not only is the coffee exquisite (even for a black coffee drinker), everything we’ve tried is a 10/10. Chat and Griddle even catered our son’s birthday party last fall. Everyone was raving about the food for weeks. We love the atmosphere and truly appreciate that the owner hires high school students and lets them be themselves in a relaxed fit.The sandwiches are wrapped perfectly in quality paper, and easy clean up with disposable plates and appreciate the eco-friendly paper towels.Chat and Griddle has character, my son even loves the bouncy floor! The owner is so kind and humble. He truly cares about his community and puts so much effort into this place.Perfect spot for Kenilworth.Sandwich pictured is the Roasted Turkey BLT. Divine.”
“This is your best option for Italian specialties. Sandwiches, platters, hot and prepared foods, award-winning mozzarella. Even if I didn’t live around the corner I would be traveling for this food. If you haven’t been, you need to go.”
“Had a 5:30 reservation for 5 on a Saturday night. Upon our arrival the table was ready and we were seated. This is a B.Y.O.B. establishment, keep that in mind. We ordered appetizers 1, fried calamari 2,fried mozzarella 3, garlic shrimp ?. They were delicious ?. Here is where the 4 starts came in. It took about an hour and a half between the appetizer and main course to come out. It is about the only drawback they have. I enjoyed a 14 ounce filet minion with a side of linguini in vodka sauce. It's outstanding!! Also enjoyed at the table was ravioli, a rack of lamb, pene with bolonaise sauce and a scallop dinner. Everything was enjoyed by all. We will definitely be back.Vegetarian options: Plenty of pastaDietary restrictions: All good cooked to order as you likeParking: There is a lot along side the building and in the rearKid-friendliness: A very relaxed atmosphereWheelchair accessibility: Single door on the ground floor. No steps here”
“Never disappointed! I am a repeat customer and am glad to see they have expanded the menu today I had the Dagwood and it was delicious! Added photos from last time as well. There is also a park next door to walk around in or even picnic, love this place!Vegetarian options: Sandwiches”
“Classic place, simple but legendary menu. Friendly staff, and a history that can't be beat. My mom and her siblings used to go to this place and I'm so glad I know about it now.”
“From the second my husband and I stepped foot in Galloping Hill back in 2021, our experience could not have been better! A close friend got married at Galloping Hill and recommended it for our wedding. After seeing the modern and spacious ballroom and taking in the view from the ballroom and balcony overlooking the golf course, we knew this was where we needed to start the next chapter in our lives. Kristina, our sales coordinator, was so dedicated to her job, so much so that even when she was home sick, she got on the phone the day we were going to tour GH and answered every single question no matter how dumb or annoying I may have been. My husband and I decided on a little longer of an engagement and throughout the entire process, Kristina treated us like we were her family which is very rare to find nowadays. When it came time for our wedding, we not only got the royal treatment from Kristina, but we also received the same treatment from our wedding coordinator, Emily and our bridal attendants Victoria, Emma and Ellis. They all at certain points, found me stressing out about some detail and they comforted me and sprung into action to make my stress disappear instantly. We experienced an issue with a vendor (not GH) and our bridal attendants pulled us to the side and asked us how they could fix the situation at hand. They did everything possible to make sure that not only my husband and I were okay and happy but each of our guests were too. We had Brenda as our maitre’d and she was just as amazing as Kristina, Emily, Victoria, Emma and Ellis. She was so kind and attentive and made sure every single person was happy and being attended to. It has only been a week since we got married but any person that attended our wedding cannot stop raving about the venue, the atmosphere, the food and the staff. Working with the team at Galloping Hill to make our wedding perfect, was honestly a dream come true. We highly recommend getting married and/or hosting your next event at Galloping Hill. If you do decide to go with GH, we promise, you will NOT be disappointed.”
“Passed this place a thousand times without ever noticing it, but read some positive reviews and decided to stop in for breakfast. I ordered the typical Colombian breakfast which consisted of scrambled eggs made with diced tomatoes and scallions, chorizo, and the Columbian version of a tortilla with melted Mexican style cheese. All absolutely delicious. The coffee was great too. Columbian coffee with frothed milk, so good. I ate at the counter and conversed with the proprietors and they were so nice. Will definitely return.”
“Tasty food with lots of choices for the whole family. We did takeout for 5 items: --Wok Fried Noodles - bouncy and satisfying! --Bao Sampler Platter - Really good, especially with chili oil! This came with different fillings: Pork with Scallion, Chicken with Corn, and Beef with Onion and you can have them steamed or fried. I super recommend getting their add-on of Spicy Minced Pork Chili Oil which really elevates this dish. --Jasmine Boba Tea (customized for my request of zero ice, zero sugar) - pretty good, but the boba was kinda hard. --Crab and Pork Soup Dumplings - Pretty good. These are very likely much better eaten in the restaurant. In general, the filling was slightly too dense and the wrapper was a little too thick compared to the same dish I've had elsewhere. --Bao Chicken - A family fave. This came with 3 pieces of broccoli and was heavy on the chicken which had a light coating and yummy sauce. The portion lasted my kids several meals. With food this good, this spot can take a bao. ;)”
“We have gone to Taormina several times on date night and with friends. Every meal we have had there from chicken parmigiana to the filet of sole has been excellent! The service and the ambiance are wonderful as well. All in all, Taormina is the perfect restaurant for every occasion - 5 stars!”
“I was there for a wedding and the location was lovely and the food was surprisingly good. They had several stations during cocktail hour and the Latin and Chinese ones were better than what you'll get at most take out places. The rest of the food was good, but these were the standouts.”
“I finally tried their bfast (I usually order lunch). oh my gosh the omelet was so good. and the potatoes weren't bland. nice flavor! i ordered 2 hash browns and they actually wrapped them separately so they wouldn't stick together. go to Michigan Deli!!”
