“Burger is OK, but I just ordered a flash burger, which has a fried egg. Specifically asked them not to over fry the egg . And they do exactly what I ask him not to do. If you’re gonna put an egg on a burger like that, you might as well scramble it if you don’t know what over easy means. Definitely don’t waste your money if you want an egg on the burger. Because they definitely don’t make it right.”

Food took a bit of time, but I knew from smelling the food when we arrived that it was going to be good. What made it so great was the flavor of the meat. I am so happy we found this place. “Eateries can go south very quickly and very easily when the owners stop caring and get complacent. This place seems to be heading in that direction. They started out great, but it appears as though the owner has gotten too comfortable with early success. It’s not going to last long. Phone calls go unanswered, or have an international ring tone, or when they do get answered they seem to be routed to the owners cell phone who has been in a different time zone outside of the country for easily two months now. Wait times for orders are getting longer and it’s no fault of the staff - the blame is entirely on management and ownership. They have one lady, Eva, working there long hours by herself, especially during weekend peak hours. She has to take orders, make orders, work the register, and clean the tables. She is overworked and under appreciated - the owners seem to be taking advantage of her strong work ethic and need for a job. There used to be a young lady working with her who probably left and now Eva is by herself most of the time. This is also a safety issue. On a recent visit, there was a customer giving her a hard time which was quite concerning. Despite all that, she does a fantastic job keeping the place running and keeping customers happy. Hopefully the owner sees this and gets a wake up call - it’s bad management style to be an absent owner for such long periods and not take care of your employees.”

“Visited this restaurant during the Valentine's Day weekend with my husband and I must say the food was delicious. I experienced their whole housemaid spring rolls, their chive patties and their vegetarian curry puffs, all of which were very delicious. I especially enjoyed their curry puffs, and the garnish that they have on the side is even good with it. For my main entree, I had the drunken noodles and I got it tie hot and it was with some mock duck. The mocked duck was delicious. My husband also got the peanut coffee. Hurry with mock duck and white rice on the side. I highly recommend this restaurant if you're looking for some good Thai food in the union area. The service was okay. They could have used another server. As the only one server for the whole restaurant, which created a longer wait time. But again, the wait was worth it. Because the food was so efficient.”

“Royal Wok is one of those classic hole-in-the-wall spots that doesn’t look like much from the outside—but don’t let that fool you. The food is consistently amazing and easily makes up for the no-frills appearance. I always go for takeout, and they never disappoint.
Be prepared, though—it can get really busy, especially during the holidays, so wait times can run longer than usual. Still, it’s absolutely worth it. “Food, service, and price were great! Located on Springfield Ave in Springfield, so view is of traffic, which is no big deal. Bathroom in basement, none on first floor. Steps up into front door entrance. I'm not sure if there is an alternate disabled entry.
