“The food was good, it’s a Standard Jersey pizza and subs that you can get pretty much anywhere in NJ though & The owner/worker was not welcoming at all to new customers. Seemed aggravated to have customers. Customer service is EVERYTHING esp when your business is a saturated one. Pizza and sub shops on every corner. They were much more welcoming at the deli next door.“

“I'd give them more than 5 stars if I could. My mom had my dad's 85th birthday party at Mimmo's . The owner, Domenico, was incredibly flexible to the different possibilities my mom was interested in. Day of the party, his son Ralph personally took care of the main table where my parents were. ALL the staff was wonderful and attentive. But my parents were treated with incredible respect. The food was amazing!!! Our family kept raving over how delicious everything was. Course after course, one dish after another, just delicious. And the Nutella zeppolis for dessert - WOW, simply decadent. * A small detail - when signing the contract, while I was excited about the Nutella zeppolis, my mom mentioned "eh, she could do without the Nutella". Ralph remembered that and put out trays half with and half without the Nutella. Made EVERYONE happy! Thank you for everything. We'll definitely be back.“

“Me and my co-workers have been coming here for a couple years, about once or twice a week. We've never had a bad meal, everything tastes fresh and delicious. Everything from their pasta dishes, pizza, freshly made salads and sandwiches are amazing. All of the food is fairly priced and its very convenient. The boss' service was very good and he patiently heated up the pizza. The brother who was sitting next to me drinking beer was also very friendly and told me that the similar looking pizzas were not the same, they used different cheese.
The pizza is really, really delicious. It's the best pizza I've ever had in Bloomfield.
It's a pity that the six point bar does not have such good service. They didn't believe my student ID and refused to sell me alcohol, however the bar opposite welcomed me warmly.

“We are lucky in New Jersey to have some many great local pizza places, but Gennaro's is a step above most. Their pizza is extremely good, both as slices bought from the counter and as whole pies. It's really as good as pizza gets. In addition to pizza, their sandwiches and meals are great. Their cheesesteaks are excellent, as are chicken dishes, etc. I've never had anything less than an "A" experience at Gennaro's. If you want to take people from out of state to teach them what pizza is supposed to taste like, take them here.“
