“Felix is the man and the smoothie and smoothie bowls are always a delicious and healthy bang for your buck, but having had the Spicy Squash and Chicken Noodle Soup, I can safely say this is my favorite spot to grab something tasty and healthy and worth the money, the soup is sooooooo good. I walked it while he was prepping another batch of the squash soup. And it smelled soooooooo oooo o good. The picture of my soup doesn’t do it justice as I’ve eaten the chicken out of it and now I’m sipping on the broth which has the slightest kick to it. I’m obsessed. I encourage everyone to support this place and get something delicious while you are at it!!!!!!“

“The Paradise juice was very refreshing. You can tell the fruits and veggies are fresh. The classic house style sandwich is super stuffed. The ham in it is really tasty. For one the service is amazing as soon as I walked in I was greeted not only by the workers but by the patrons as well. The atmosphere made me feel right at home. She recommended the Nana bowl, along with the Funky monkey smoothie, and gut green juice. Also they make energy ball for on the go, they make fresh peanut butter for toppings. Love how they have 3 different categories for choices, destination, wellness and endurance. So I called on my way home from work and placed an order to pick up for him - without issue. On arrival, I realized that the shop had already closed, but the owner was inside waiting for me to pick up. So kind!! I thanked her and told her I was bringing the porridge to my sick son, and she insisted on making him a special herbal tea remedy. She was so wonderful, and the combo of the congee and tea definitely put my son on the road to recovery! I have also enjoyed their teas and smoothies from time to time, but this was an "above and beyond" experience. So thankful to have Fresh Bui right here in town!“

I was greeted by a woman and man behind the counter who I presume to be the owners..they were quite friendly. I was looking for a smoothie place that opens before 7am and they opened at 6am. It's located on Bloomfield Ave in Newark, NJ and if you know the area, it's quite busy. Parking may be scarce. I ordered the coffee banana smoothie and it was tasty. It was approximately 32oz? And it was 10.00. They also have add ins such as protein, collagen, etc.This may seem pricey but healthy food will cost you. I wanted to try the crepes which also were 10.00 but I did not have time to wait. The smoothie was not too sweet which I liked. I would like to try their other flavors so I will definitely go back. My one issue is that a list of ingredients of the smoothies would be helpful, as well as what is used to sweeten the smoothies.“

The one item we didn't completely love when we went was our chai. Like many western chais, this one was too sweet. (To me, once it's that sweet, you lose all those aromatic notes of the ginger and cinnamon, but that's beside the point).

When I approached the workers with our feelings on the drink, they were quick to make a change without charging us. They completely remade the drink with less syrup, and it made a huge difference.

“Normally protein has this powdery taste so it's difficult to buy things with protein for me. However, the drink and tropical fruit bowl were incredible. The bowl had a passionfruit base which really was delicious and so filling. It had so much fruit and was amazing. The owner was so kind and really passionate about what she's doing at this place. I would definitely recommend this place for when you're looking for some healthy eats high in protein. Looking forward to going back!“
