I've had their juices before and have my favorites (The Healer, Feelin' The Beat, Cold Buster) but I'm really happy to have another option in town to turn to for food. Breakfast options - the overnight oats, granola. tofu scramble, and snack pack of fruit and almond butter were all delicious and filling. For lunch and dinner options, the bean burger is not to be missed as well as all of their soups. The rainbow wraps have the perfect amount of hummus and the kale caesar salad is so good. As much as I love their juice, they offer so much more than just juice! Even my kids love their banana whips. We are so lucky to have them in town! “The 3 day cleanse was ah-mazing. I thought to myself that I was not going to be able to do it. The drinks were delicious and having one every 2 hours I wasn't hungry at all. Yeah day 2 I wanted something to eat but the drinks kept me full so it was only my brain saying you need food but I didn't. My husband did it with me and we both lost 9 lbs. “I have been a regular customer at The Juice House for years. It's such a nostalgic place for me personally and I know it means a lot to the local community as well - truly a staple of downtown Garwood. The ambiance is very modern and trendy with lots of seating options to enjoy your food in-store. There's also lots of outdoor seating, though not the most relaxing option because it's along a busy road/intersection. When I'm not with friends, I usually take my food to go, which is always a quick and easy process. I can easily say that The Juice House makes the best bowls (acai, pitaya, coconut, banana - you name it)! What really sets JH apart is their organic GRAWNOLA - it's so tasty and soft. The bowls have the perfect proportions of base, GRAWNOLA, and toppings, so every bite is flavorful. My go-to order is the Chocoberry Acai Bowl with honey, which truly hits the spot every time. Some other favorites are the CocoNutter Coconut Bowl and the JH Acai Bowl, but you truly cannot go wrong with whatever you order! The Juice House employees are always friendly and helpful, and the owner, Arielle, is extremely front-facing and responsive - so awesome! It's been so great watching their journey from the beginning, especially now that they're franchising. And throughout those years, the food has stayed consistently amazing. I thought the prices were kind of high, but I was really curious, so I continued on ordering. The cashier was very nice to explain menu items to me. I went with the cheese empanada and a pernil empanada. I'm glad that their empanada are decently sized and that they load up their empanadas. Even the cheese ones had a lot of cheese (please see pic), and they aren't had just air pockets. I thought the pernil embalada was very flavorful. Overall I'm very happy with my orders and would like to try all the different menu items.“

The restaurant is very clean and organized as it is a new restaurant in Newark. The food is fresh and delicious. My daughter got the Short Hills Sandwich (Steak, fried eggs, sauteed onions & cheese). I got the Teriyaki Salmon Bowl (Quinoa brown rice, fresh sliced avocado, cucumber, carrots, soybeans, fresh scallion, fresh ginger, sesame seed - I said no to the avocado). It was too much food, and I couldn't finish it, but my daughter did that for me.The service was super nice. The place was very crowded and busy but they were keeping up.The place is kind of a small diner and a diner-like selection. I suspect they could do a lot more business with more space and parking.The image is of a watermelon radish, which they used as garnish on both our dishes. They have radish texture but only a faint radish taste. Very large, 5 or 6 cm.Vegetarian options: There are several, in the way that any diner these days has several vegetarian options. It's clearly not a specialty of theirs, but you absolutely have non-meat choices.Parking: They have a lot, but it isn't large nor immediately adjacent, but it's not far. There's not a lot of street parking or municipal lots in that area so I'm not sure what we would have done if their lot was full. “PROS:- This place makes their bases (which they have numerous kinds of) right in front of you. It's not premade like Frutta Bowls or Playa Bowls. So you can customize it completely.- The portions are HUGE especially compared to Frutta Bowls. I much rather have more of the base (which is difficult to make at home) than the slices of fruit on top (which is easy to do at home).- Krystina and Shanel made our bowls and were so warm and patient -- explaining all of their options and even giving us free samples of their sugar free peanut butter which they grind right in front of you (this was the topping we chose -- highly recommend).- They even have a BOGO on Wednesdays if you use the app. You can bet we will be there again this week for it.CONS:- Acai bowls in general are not cheap. But I've made many acai bowls myself at home, and those 100% acai packets from Trader Joe's are a pain to open and work with.
