“I am from Maryland, was passing thru on the way home. The food was excellent. The Tony salad was so good, got a meatball pizza that was delicious also. Got two pasta entrees, chicken Marsala and one other I can’t remember the name of. Both were delicious. Price was good especially for the area.“

“Idc... What these first time ppl is saying. I don't agree!!!! I first started eating El Greco when my boyfriend lived around the way. And I loved they food. After that I took they menu and this was about 2012. Now, because of the pandemic things changed. But, to me It didn't. Not only that they're food is good and not stingy. Sooo.. as today and for a long time I'm not upset... The only thing I wish that they would put on the menu is either pasta, or meatballs and chicken Parm.. for more maybe sandwiches. Wow. An actual human being that's bubbly, connective & intelligent. You just don't find it that much these days. Was an absolute pleasure ordering. Knows her menu. Asks all the right questions (sauce on side, what variety would you like, etc).

“If you are looking for GOOD NY style pizza, you need to try Nonno's. There are many pizzerias in the Clifton / Nutley area, but in my opinion the pizza here is one of the best I have had. Sauce is favourable. Cheese is good quality unlike some places where they fall off the moment you pick up the slice. Service is super friendly and accommodating. It's a small place with a feeling of a neighbourhood-go-to pizzeria“

The boss' service was very good and he patiently heated up the pizza. The brother who was sitting next to me drinking beer was also very friendly and told me that the similar looking pizzas were not the same, they used different cheese.
The pizza is really, really delicious. It's the best pizza I've ever had in Bloomfield.
It's a pity that the six point bar does not have such good service. They didn't believe my student ID and refused to sell me alcohol, however the bar opposite welcomed me warmly.

Id say only thing I’ve experienced was peeling the foil back from the wrap a small piece of foil would stick at the top where it gets cut and I had to remove it. Not a big deal for me, but some people don’t look over their food before biting. 🫶🏻

“Tried a plain, pepperoni, and sausage & hot cherry peppers slices. Plain was ok. Nothing bad but nothing mind blowing. Around a 7 out of 10. Same with the pepperoni. The sausage & hot pepper slice though… 8.1. I was a little hurt that I didn’t get at least a 2nd slice of that. The pizza maker was very nice also. I will say a little pricey for what I got. Those 3 slices and a soda came to $15

“We are lucky in New Jersey to have some many great local pizza places, but Gennaro's is a step above most. Their pizza is extremely good, both as slices bought from the counter and as whole pies. It's really as good as pizza gets. In addition to pizza, their sandwiches and meals are great. Their cheesesteaks are excellent, as are chicken dishes, etc. I've never had anything less than an "A" experience at Gennaro's. If you want to take people from out of state to teach them what pizza is supposed to taste like, take them here.“
